The left wing hate-Trump zealots were hysterical with unbridled glee
as they anticipated the "Great Stormy Daniels Tidal Wave" they
predicted would capsize and sink President Trump! But, like their
Russia Collusion witch hunt, it sputtered into nothing.
President Trump's approval rating is at 50% which is higher than Obama's
at this point in his reign. This is not at all surprising but there is one
thing Democrats never saw coming; "The Slick Willie Clinton Factor".
Left wing Democrats never grasp the fact that they do not hold the
high moral ground when it comes to misconduct with women. In fact, between
Ted Kennedy's Chappaquiddick (coming to a theater near you) debacle and Bill Clinton's
myriad extra-marital affairs, most likely voters consider Democrats to be hypocrites in this area.
Donald Trump allegedly had a "sexual encounter" with adult porn star
Stormy Daniels in July, 2006. She also alleges that he paid her $130K in exchange for her agreement to keep quiet and not disclose it. She is now being managed by some wealthy left wing anti-Trump individuals who have offered her money go public with the story - which she has. She is also using the publicity to promote her new nationwide tour.
But put the story in perspective. A multi-billionaire businessman has a sexual encounter with an
adult porn star. Certainly nothing to be proud of, but also not any kind of earth shattering event. Also, keep in mind this happened a decade before Donald Trump even announced that he was running for office.
Now, compare that to President Bill Clinton. President Clinton was caught getting blow jobs in the Oval Office from an Intern young enough to be his daughter. And that was after he was accused of forcible rape by Juanita Broaddrick and of sexual assault by Kathleen Willey, while he was the Governor of Arkansas.
You tell me which the bigger story is, and which is the greater betrayal of the trust of the American people that elected them to office.
BTW, I don't remember Democrats complaining or being outraged by President, and Governor, Clinton's behavior at the time.
