‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Lincoln Adim Convicted Of Indecent Assault &
Battery; Producers Deny Any Knowledge
by Denise Petski

The Bachelorette contestant Lincoln Adim was convicted of indecent
assault and battery last month in upstate New York, a week before he
appeared on the Season 14 premiere on ABC. Adim has yet to be
eliminated from Becca Kufrin’s lineup of eligible bachelors and
remains on the show.

“No one on the Bachelorette production had any knowledge about the
incident or charges when Lincoln Adim was cast, and he himself denied
ever having engaged in or been charged with any sexual misconduct,”
The Bachelorette producer Warner Bros said in a statement to Deadline.

Classic lies from producers.

We employ a well-respected and highly experienced third party
who has done thousands of background checks consistent with
industry standards to do a nationwide background check in this
case.

Reality tv has standards? Who knew?

This fuckhead was arrested in 2016. It's not clear how a basic
background check for arrests missed it.

It's a WB show so they used the same guy that cleared Robert Knepper.

Cleared, but was suddenly dropped from "iZombie" in the finale.

That wasn't "sudden" - they filmed an entire season with him as main
cast, so it wasn't "sudden" at all.

And, from a storyline perspective, the fate of his character really
couldn't have gone any other way...

True, his demise came at the end so it wasn't a sudden disappearance,
more like unexpected... for me anyway.

I still wonder if he would've been in season 5 if it hadn't been for
that news story
but since next season is the finale it's not a big deal. At least we're
getting a finale
unlike with some other shows.
