They got so used to having their living paid for by the STATE that they don't want to go back to work. Result? Huge employment problems for restaurants, coffee shops, and other businesses. But, now the gravy train has stopped, perhaps they'll face some reality?

wouldn't it be interesting if those business understood the laws of
"demand and supply"

There are no more people in the U.S. (save some Afghanis and Latinos) than before Covid. The same number of blue-collar workers are needed, they just don't want to do the jobs anymore, but
they still want to be paid to sit around the house...yeah, that'll sustain over the long-haul alright.
