Journalist Rachel Maddow has joined the cast of CW's Batwoman - or at
least her voice has, as announced via The Hollywood Reporter.

Maddows will voice the character of radio personality Vesper Fairchild
- a one time romantic partner for Bruce Wayne, in comic books. She's
expected to appear in "multiple episodes."

Maddow previously wrote an introduction for a collection of Greg Rucka
and J.H. Williams III's Batwoman story "Elegy."

"We consider Vesper Fairchild to be the sardonic Voice of Gotham,"
Batwoman showrunner Caroline Dries told THR. "In addition to Rachel’s
interest in Batwoman, we thought she’d be the perfect casting choice
because her own hard-hitting journalism wildly contrasts Vesper’s
penchant for snark, gossip and criticism of female superheroes."

["hard-hitting journalism"? You mean like when she made a fool of
herself with Trump's tax return or the time she started to cry
on air b/c the Mueller report turned out to be a flop?]

There's so much wrong in that sentence I don't even know where to begin.

By not watching the show?

Although... to be fair, that's pretty much true for almost ANY subject.

The worst part is, that's only ONE of the multiple mistakes in that sentence.

I have to guess whoever hired her for the part has no clue about journalism.

And Madcow was right there in the beginning of the show.
Well, at least they got that out of the way first...

Somewhere in the underbelly of the hairy armpit of Gotham City, the Russian Mafia conspires to cutoff power to MSNBC. Can Batwoman save Gotham from this dastardly deed? Will Cattywoman wrap Batwoman in tin foil and foil her plans? Stay tuned for the next exciting adventure of Batshitcrazy.

Wayne is a billionaire, not a leftist shill. He wouldn't soil himself with second-rate slag when he could have any woman he wants.

Wait, isn't it verboten for a lesbian to play a straight woman?
