Sorry, Yads, but I can't work out a word of your so-called review. Pure
gibberish, through and through.

You proved me wrong though. I guessed you'd give it 0/10.

Other than you (and presumably Aggy), the general concensus is a thumbs up.

Well we all knew what the shape of his mumblings before the episode aired.
He just can't cope with the Doctor being a woman. I imagine he will give
all the episodes 0, 1 or maybe 2.

I am also sure he doesn't really understand half of what he watches.
For example the crane bit I have quoted. To anyone with half a brain
it is obvious why the Doctor needed someone else to work the crane -
she was going to go the end and catch the guy jumping across (and
in the end jumped across the gap herself). No-one can work the
crane and be at the end of the arm at the same time.

Doctor Who is aimed at a family audience. However it's not suitable for
infants. And Yads is about as infantile as they come.

Her plan wasn't to have him jump, or jump herself though; that was only
necessitated by the thing shorting out. The plan was just to move the two
ends together and rescue the guy. There was no need whatsoever for her to
even be out there until it broke.

Unless, of course, there was a monster chasing the guy, who would
follow him, perhaps very closely, to the end of the arm, and she
wanted to be able to get between it and its intended victim.

Did you actually *watch* the show?

He'd have had to jump a little bit anyway, because the two cranes have
to be at different elevations so the tips can pass each other by.

More like he'd have had to climb down.

Where were we? It wasn't a construction site. Why were there two cranes
set up? What exactly was the crane operator's job, particularly in the
middle of the night?

Those looked like cranes used for loading/unloading semi-trailers. If
this was a port city it would make sense that they could have worked
needed to be done 24x7. I don't think that was a port so I'm not sure
why they were there other than the script called for it to be done.

set up? What exactly was the crane operator's job, particularly in the
middle of the night?
I have no idea why there were two cranes that can overlap set up.
The Doctor's conscripted friends (they aren't 'companions' any more because
that's not PC) were operating the one; the other was stalled.
I *think* the one friend somehow got the operating instructions on his phone
and was telling the other one what to do.
I have no idea why the site was crawling with people.

The Doctor needing someone to work a crane? I thought The Dcotor knew
how?!
Sorry, Yads, but I can't work out a word of your so-called review. Pure
gibberish, through and through.
Her plan wasn't to have him jump, or jump herself though; that was only
necessitated by the thing shorting out. The plan was just to move the two
ends together and rescue the guy. There was no need whatsoever for her to
even be out there until it broke.
Obviously ripping off Quatermas and the Pit, but that had a real man riding the
end of the crane.

She got Yas to work the crane. Ryan has co-ordination issues, remember.

It’s there, it’s practically a contractual obligation, get over it and

I didn't watch the crap, and have no intention of ever doing so. My
reply was simply a joke based on the Doctor now (stupidly) being female.

Of course "Ryan" can't do it. He's a male and males now have to be made
to look stupid to further appease the "Equality" nutters. (The
character of The Doctor has been made to look stupid for the last few
regenerations while his female companions have become the intelligent
ones.)

The show had already been given a terminal diagnosis when they stupidly
gender-swapped The Master. :-(

The executive producer of James Bond who is in charge of casting is one
of the few people in Hollyweird with a brain when it comes to this
"Politically Corret" / "Equality" crap ...

Barbara Broccoli, who is in charge of casting 007, told the
Guardian: "Bond is male. He's a male character. He was written
as a male and I think he'll probably stay as a male. "And that's
fine. We don't have to turn male characters into women."

Ms Broccoli, 58, said instead of lobbying for a female James
Bond, filmmakers should "create more female characters and make
the story fit those female characters".

Yep, "she" needed a *man* to work the crane because she's just a silly
woman and they can't use big machines. ;-)
She got Yas to work the crane. Ryan has co-ordination issues, remember.
(And score one for the 'PC' decriers and the counters of virtue signalling
- lo and behold, one of the companions is disabled, albeit in a mild and
non-visible way. I'm pointing this out just the way I used to point out the
token minority member of the cast of American shows in the 70s and 80s.
It's there, it's practically a contractual obligation, get over it and
enjoy the show).
I didn't watch the crap, and have no intention of ever doing so. My
reply was simply a joke based on the Doctor now (stupidly) being female.
Of course "Ryan" can't do it. He's a male and males now have to be made
to look stupid to further appease the "Equality" nutters. (The character
of The Doctor has been made to look stupid for the last few
regenerations while his female companions have become the intelligent
ones.)

The Doctor needing someone to work a crane? I thought The Dcotor knew how?!
Sorry, Yads, but I can't work out a word of your so-called review. Pure
gibberish, through and through.
To anyone with half a brain
it is obvious why the Doctor needed someone else to work the crane

Chibnall fail!
Pathetic!! Chibnall must move on! Lousy everything, plot, premise, ideas ...
Whittaker looks like a bumbling fool.
Bradley Walsh as Graham , no spine! It is time to clean house!
Just glimpses of upcoming stars. Chibnall and Whittaker out now!
You do not deserve to be renewed in 2019!
Well I don't think the BBC are going to agree with you there.
The UK overnight figures are very strong.

Average viewers 8.2m with a peak of 9m is stronger than any
recent Doctor apart from Eccleston. Audience share of 40.1%
is also very good (it was the most watched programme of the
night for those aged under 55).

These are better figures than The Bodyguard which was one of
the Beeb's biggest new dramas this year.

I am not sure that the BBC will take any notice of the green
ink brigade when they have a series getting good reviews in
the papers and a massive number of viewers.

I also fully expect that the AI (appreciation index) figure for
this story to be over 80. A score over 85 is seen as excellent.

The Bodygaurd was over-hyped garbage, if the ending was anything to go
by, nothing but people being shouted at and interrogated by women placed
in unrealistic positions of power, written as male characters, and no
action whatsoever.

It, like Doctor Who, was part of the BBC's sexist agenda of brainwashing
viewers into believing in a reality that doesn't exist.

These are the facts, as stated by a woman herself;
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-45803343

<<"There's something slightly troubling about the fact that there's lots
of women in power but even the snipers [in Bodyguard] were women,"
Goodwin told BBC Radio 4's World at One.

"All the police officers were women and I just don't believe that is
necessarily an accurate representation of what goes on in the police at
the moment.

"I think its unrealistic to pretend on television that women and men are
treated equally and that's not the case," Goodwin added.>>

Well I don't think the BBC are going to agree with you there.
The UK overnight figures are very strong.
Like usual new Doctor episodes, it was a good introduction to what the Doctor
will be along with a moderate plot. Like this Doctor is into making her tools as
she needs them, and she didn't make an electric guitar. The culottes look like a
compromise to keep fans from bitching.

Oh?!
She's been given silly trousers to wear because they don't want anyone
looking up her skirt while she's trying to be a fake James Bond, jumping
between crane masts.

A real man would wear a kilt with nothing on underneath.

compromise to keep fans from bitching.
Oh?!
She's been given silly trousers to wear because they don't want anyone
looking up her skirt while she's trying to be a fake James Bond, jumping
between crane masts.
A real man would wear a kilt with nothing on underneath.
Just looks tacky!

Chibnall is not the right showrunner!
Starts of with Ryan and a special woman on Youtube?
You are looking incoherent.
So Ryan and his father will share adventure. Love he mixed couple.
Hate the tempter.
Ryan's father ran away and deserted him and his mother. It's yes more
evidence of constant misandry in Chibnall's writing.

The Doctor needing someone to work a crane? I thought The Dcotor knew how?!
Jump and fight. Longer legs needed? More brains please.
And this is where the entire idea of a woman playing the Doctor falls
apart, because like James Bond, the character of the Doctor is that of a
man.

Danial Craig can jump between two cranes in Casino Royale and you don't
give it a second thought because men can do this, it's in their nature
and biological make up, they can jump higher and further than women, and
they have the hunting instinct and testosterone which makes them do so.
Women do not. So having Whittaker trying to act like James Bond simply
doesn't have any credibility.

And that's before we get to the part where she magics the alien away
with a throwaway line about something she did earlier, which no one, not
even the viewer saw her do.

Just imagine the scene with James Bond, in Casino Royale, tided down to
that bottomless chair by Le Chiffre, and having his balls and arse
whipped with a carpet beater; and put Whittaker in his place. And just
when Le Chiffre moves to cut Whittaker's balls off... uhum... that's not
going to work is it?... to cut Whittaker's clitoris off... uhum... that
won't work either... to rape her... ok that will work, she tells him
that she implanted a DNA bomb in the drink which he drank, way back when
they were in the Casino, in a moment of underhanded skulduggery no one
ever saw, and not even the writer described at the time, or the director
showed to the viewer; and the moment he touches his zipper he blows up,
and she's free.

Ian Fleming wouldn't have sold a single copy of his novel if he came up
with something so ridiculous as having Bond save himself by something he
did earlier which the reader is never told about, and which is never
even hinted at, until Le Chiffre suddenly explodes, and then Bond
explains it all to him as he's dying.

Matt Smith had 6 TV roles and 1 film role before becoming The Doctor.
Jodie Whittaker had 18 TV roles and far more film roles than Matt Smith.
Plus there are the stage and radio roles.

Looking at her TV filmography there seems to have been quite a variety
of roles too, and most of them are not lead roles.

So I think it is obvious that your claim falls down when it is faced with
the facts.

All Jodie Whittaker did in those roles was take her clothes off, and
screech and squeal hysterically, playing exactly the same character
every time, most of which were minor. Matt Smith on the other hand was
an accomplished character actor, who was also a member of the National
Theater, and had a vast depth and range of ability at his disposal than
Whittaker ever did at his age, when he was cast as the Doctor.

Looking at her TV filmography there seems to have been quite a variety
of roles too, and most of them are not lead roles.
The only part she every played was hysterical northern woman, and
nothing more. She's incapable of doing anything except a northern
accent, and even said so herself.

So I think it is obvious that your claim falls down when it is faced with
the facts.
What is obvious is that Jodie Whittaker had already been type cast as
hysterical northern woman, and was not an accomplished character actor,
whereas Matt Smith was, and all that when he was far younger than she is
as well.

We've seen from the first episode that she can't convincingly convey any
form of authority, she doesn't sound like she understands a word she's
saying, she doesn't act or behave like a doctor or a scientist of any
kind, can't convey feeling or emotion, and she has no charisma. She's
playing hysterical northern woman all over again.

I was dubious at first, but I like her. She's attractive and funny and,
most importantly, I can frakking understand her without having to turn
the closed captioning on, which is not something I can say for the last
three Doctors.
I do wish she'd stayed with the black coat and trousers, though. The
outfit she came up with at the end was goofy-looking.
She was channeling Robin Williams in "Mork and Mindy".
I swear.

declares his lunatic opinions, offensive bigotry and outright lies to be
“absolute scientific facts” (usually claiming that Plato agrees with him)
and then rants on about them at great lengths. You can usually tell when he
knows deep down that he’s wrong: he will tell you you’re “delusional and

declaring to be “delusional and insane” is Dave “Yads” Yadallee. Which says

She was a French cross-dressing lesbian whore. Nature would normally
breed anomalies like her out of the gene pool. That's the scientific
explanation.

Not exactly what someone with intelligence would recommend as a role
model for heterosexual women, and not what women should aspire to.

These are the facts, as stated by a woman herself;
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-45803343

You and other viewers have been totally brainwashed.

<<"There's something slightly troubling about the fact that there's lots

"All the police officers were women and I just don't believe that is
necessarily an accurate representation of what goes on in the police at
the moment.
"I think its unrealistic to pretend on television that women and men are
treated equally and that's not the case," Goodwin added.>>

She is channeling Micky Mouse. She's not a character actor like Matt
Smith, or any of the other lead actors were.
So I think it is obvious that your claim falls down when it is faced with
the facts.
Aggy never lets facts get in the way of his prejudices. Indeed, he often
declares his lunatic opinions, offensive bigotry and outright lies to be
“absolute scientific facts” (usually claiming that Plato agrees with him)
and then rants on about them at great lengths. You can usually tell when he
knows deep down that he’s wrong: he will tell you you’re
“delusional and
insane”. About the only person ever to respond to him who he
doesn’t end up
declaring to be “delusional and insane” is Dave “Yads” Yadallee.
Which says
it all, really.
All of my facts have been scientifically proven time and time
again, and there is nothing or bigoted in anything I have said.
So what is your scientific explanation for the peculiar career of
La Maupin?
http://eldacur.com/~brons/Maupin/LaMaupin.html
She was a French cross-dressing lesbian whore.
Not a lesbian.  She definitely swung both ways.
Nature would normally

breed anomalies like her out of the gene pool. That's the
scientific explanation.
So you concede that unusual people exist.  And the Doctor?  You

iirc the same effect used to keep Sunnyvale CA unaware that they lived in

apparently have blind spots the size of Texas.

Sooner or later they’re going to run out of illusionists, hypnotists and

Hey, is there some in-show rational as to why humans in England are in denial
of the existence of aliens, given that they've had them running around
opening for a decade now?
The theory is that people don't like to deal with the unusual, so they
blank it out and forget. A lot.
Yeah, I don't buy it either.
The other is that official bodies (government, UNIT, etc) make sure that
when any incidents are reported by the press, cover stories are invented in
order to prevent the public from panicing.
And what might be the cover stories of peoples loved ones being sent to
concentration camps a year and a half ago, in the corps monks rubbish?

Aggy, dear - almost everything you write is a work of fiction. And you
wouldn't know where to start when it comes to writing real characters.

You've got this quaint idea that men have men's jobs and women have women's
jobs.

One of my niece's friends is a 23 year old girl who is a qualified car
mechanic.
One of my female friends works for the RAF.
You make pizzas and live at home with your mum and dad.

Post by The True Doctor
breed anomalies like her out of the gene pool. That's the
scientific explanation.
So you concede that unusual people exist.  And the Doctor?  You
think the Doctor is a totally average specimen of humanity and in
no way an exception to any rules?  Not an oddity at all?
The Doctor should not be turned into a bisexual whore.
The Doctor shouldn't be sexual at all.  But that's beside the point
of your nonexistent facts.
These are the facts, as stated by a woman herself;
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-45803343
You and other viewers have been totally brainwashed.
<<"There's something slightly troubling about the fact that there's
lots of women in power but even the snipers [in Bodyguard] were
women," Goodwin told BBC Radio 4's World at One.
Thank you for your totally irrelevant response.
More evidence of you brainwashing. Even Daisy Goodwin a female writer,
can see the facts, that this representation of women in male roles on
television is airbrushing reality, and therefore not credible.
DJ is a case of sad but true.

She is channeling Micky Mouse. She's not a character actor like Matt
Smith, or any of the other lead actors were.
So I think it is obvious that your claim falls down when it is faced with
the facts.
Aggy never lets facts get in the way of his prejudices. Indeed, he often
declares his lunatic opinions, offensive bigotry and outright lies to be
“absolute scientific facts” (usually claiming that Plato agrees
with him)
and then rants on about them at great lengths. You can usually tell when he
knows deep down that he’s wrong: he will tell you you’re
“delusional and
insane”. About the only person ever to respond to him who he
doesn’t end up
declaring to be “delusional and insane” is Dave “Yads”
Yadallee.

I swear.
