Hyper-accelerated race of aliens goes to the Voyager starship. They are moving at 6,000x the speed of humans. They force the door on the bridge to open. The bridge door just opens and they start walking around. However, were the bridge door to be opened at their speed (assuming a natural speed of door opening was 1/4mph) then it would have been moving at 1500mph, which would have destroyed the door and because of the door's mass, likely 1/2 the bridge deck. Of course, that didn't happen.

How fast is '6000 times the speed of humans'? I'm asking for a friend
who is a slow learner.

Wasn't this a TOS episode ("Bling of an Eye")? Or did Voyager have a
similar plotline.

Voyager had a similar ep. But the same thing applied to the original ST ep.

You'd be surprised how many bad or rejected scripts they recycled for this
show.

Credit where credit is due. Voyager did something far more interesting
with the concept by exploring just how generations would pass in a
matter of hours and they'd rapidly overtake the starship.

Mind you they were just dumbing down the premise from Robert Forward's
1980 novel "Dragon Egg"

I missed most of Voyager's run, but there was a plotline like this on
The Orville.

No. They aren't moving at 600- times the speed of humans. Time is
moving for them at an accelerated rate. Expecting Newtonian momentum
from objects they move is nonsensical.
