A porn star feels she's destined for big-time Hollywood. MAXXXINE (on
Max, where else?) completes writer-director Ti West's indie horror
trilogy, and it's the weakest of the three. Each one stars perpetually
pouting Mia Goth (who's actually a Londoner), and this finale is a
bigger production, with a name supporting cast. But the upgrade dispels
the intimacy that horror needs. Only modestly recommended.

I dunno - if the title actually had 3 X's as you say most people would
have expected hard core porn!

Well, the first (and best) of the trilogy was named 'X' and rated R.
