Wendie Malick, Amanda Righetti, Josh Ventura, Dave Baez
Quick review:
Plot number 12
The script is awful, but Wendie Malick turns in an entertaining
performance. Amanda Righetti and Josh Ventura make no effort to act. I
liked Dave Baez's performance.
Barbara interferes in her son Ethan's marriage. She hates her daughter
in law but tolerates her a little when she becomes pregnant. She loses
the baby. Barbara pressures them to try again or adopt, but they
divorce. Ethan shuns his mother.
Ethan gets an instant family, marrying Kendall, a divorcee with two
children before the first commercial break. Ethan really likes her kids.
Calvin is the children's father. He's a good dad but the time he spends
per the child custody arrangement interferes with Barbara who is
desperate for grandkids. This is all Kendall's fault as she brought
Barbara into their lives.
She'll murder Calvin and is about to murder Kendall except she tells
Barbara she's pregnant. Oh, and if you guess Ethan was always sick as a
child because of tv's most common ailment, Munchaussen-by-proxy, gosh,
you've seen this before.
Mostly crap.
