The Amazing Kreskin was shown on Canadian TV for a time several decades
ago. I remember watching it once and being pretty skeptical of him, as I
am of all such people. Not long later, there were rumours circulating
that he was a fake and that his signature glasses actually hid a secret
earpiece where a confederate could whisper things into his ears that let
him seem amazing.

Apparently, his real name was George Kresge Jr and he has died at age 89.

I thought I'd mention that since no one else had.

Wonder if he was able to foretell it.

Wonder if he was able to foretell it.
Sure. Just not where, when, or how...

Only time I can recall his name coming up was in regards to people who
were justifiably skeptical of his abilities. That and lots of clips
from Youtube keeping his name alive:

Wasn't he a stage magacian who did card tricks, etc?

I only ever saw him once and he didn't do any card tricks then but he
may have at other points in his career. He described himself as a
"mentalist", not a magician.
