Harvard University is set to host a United Nations official today who was
just banned by Israel for her comments justifying Hamas’ October 7 slaughter
of more than 1,000 civilians as a “response to Israel’s oppression.”

Francesca Albanese, the UN’s Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian
territories, was officially banned from Israel on Monday for stating days
earlier that the Hamas attack had nothing to do with anti-Semitism,
according to The Times of Israel. She is still scheduled, however, to be a
featured speaker for Harvard’s Carr Center for Human Rights Policy on Monday
afternoon to discuss Israel’s war in Gaza.

“Join us for a virtual conversation with UN Special Rapporteur, Francesca
Albanese, as she discusses her perspective on the current situation in the
Gaza area as well as her experiences working on the protection of
Palestinian refugees and migrants,” the event’s website states.

Albanese on Saturday has made her position on Israel’s offensive against
Hamas quite clear, most recently pushing back against French President
Emmanuel Macron for calling the October 7 attack an “anti-Semitic massacre.”

“The ‘greatest anti-Semitic massacre of our century’? No, Mr.
@EmmanuelMacron,” UN Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian territories
Francesca Albanese tweeted in response to France’s president honoring the
victims on Saturday. “The victims of 10/7 were not killed because of their
Judaism, but in response to Israel’s oppression.”

Harvard’s decision to host her on the same day she was banned by Israel
comes as the Ivy League institution grapples with rampant anti-Semitism on
campus. The Cambridge-based Ivy League is currently facing a lawsuit filed
by Jewish students that accuses the school of avoiding protecting Jewish
students from harassment and enabling antisemitism.

Harvard University did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The
event, entitled, “A Conversation with Francesca Albanese,” will be hosted at
4:00 p.m., and will include the center’s Faculty Director Mathias Risse.

Israeli officials said Albanese should be fired permanently by the United
Nations, The Times of Israel reported on Monday.

“The era of Jews being silent is over,” Foreign Minister Israel Katz and
Interior Minister Moshe Arbel said in a joint statement. “If the UN wants to
return to being a relevant body, its leaders must publicly disavow the
anti-Semitic words of the ‘Special Envoy’ – and fire her permanently.
Preventing her from entering Israel might remind her of the real reason why
Hamas slaughtered babies, women and adults.”

Last year, a bipartisan group of members of Congress called on the United
Nations to remove Albanese for her bias against Israel.

“Ms. Albanese has repeatedly refused to condemn terrorist attacks against
Israelis while continuing her condemnations of Israel,” the group wrote.
“For an official tasked with serving as an independent, neutral, and expert
voice on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, her inexcusable silence against
terrorism targeting Israelis and her outrageous and prejudicial remarks
clearly reflect the irredeemable bias of her mandate.”

Earlier this month The Daily Wire first reported on the Harvard Kennedy
School’s Middle East Initiative’s plan to host a Palestinian professor who
called Hamas’ massacre of Israeli civilians a “normal struggle for freedom,”
and said she would never forgive Israel’s government for “making us take
their children and elderly as hostages.”

The school distanced itself from the event, putting the blame on the Middle
East Initiative’s director, Professor Tarek E. Masoud. “Dean Douglas
Elmendorf personally finds abhorrent the comments by Dalal Saeb Iriqat
quoted in the press that justify and normalize the horrific terrorist attack
by Hamas,” it said in a statement. “An invitation to speak at the Kennedy
School never implies an endorsement of a speaker’s views by the Kennedy
School or members of the Kennedy School community.”

Yeah right.

I once attended a speech by Moshe Dayan in our Student Union but that
was clearly identified as being sponsored by the Hillel Club. This was
back in 1977-78 when memories of the 1973 were still fresh and I
figured (correctly) he would have 'behind the scenes' insights
unlikely to be gotten elsewhere.

45 years later the main things I remember were (a) his explanation on
how he lost his eye and (b) all those big men in dark suits and
clearly 'packing' by the bulges near their shoulders and very little
about the 1973 war. (I had been particularly interested in his views
on the first 48-72 hours of the war)

But the Kennedy School is definitely NOT a campus club but part of the
university itself.

That does not in any way imply an endorsement of the speaker's views. The school
wants to present views that typically are excluded in this country. That's a
legitimate educational goal.

So why did they not do a stronger 'this does not present the views of
Harvard'? Because with their former president going thermonuclear in
Washington with her use of "context" that's DEFINITELY the message
that was transmitted. Absolutely no question about it.

Not needed. They don't need to worry about pleasing you.
Fine - then they don't need to worry about my saying that I think
they've demonstrated ample anti-Semiticism amongst their
administration. And I certainly don't need to worry about pleasing
them either.

On Friday, Harvard University announced the formation of an anti-Semitism
task force to be co-chaired by a professor who was also one of many
signatories to a letter last August that accused Israel of an “illegal
occupation of millions of Palestinians” and forcing Palestinians to live
“under a regime of apartheid.” The letter also accused the current Israeli
government of a “messianic, homophobic, and misogynistic agenda” and endorsed
a “Demand from elected leaders in the United States that they … restrict
American military aid from being used in the Occupied Palestinian
Territories.”

Filed under “you can’t make this up” —
Prof who claims “veins of hatred run through Jewish civilization” &
that @Israel is a racist, #Jewish Supremacist apartheid state is
appointed co-chair of @Harvard’s Presidential Task Force on Combating
#Antisemitism.

Harvard University – the rot of antisemitism at the disgraced school
sinks to a new low as Derek Penslar, a member of the school’s task
force to FIGHT antisemitism, is outted for calling Israel an
apartheid regime.

Harvard naming Derek Penslar as co-chair of their Task Force on
Antisemitism makes as much sense and inspires as much confidence
as the U.N. announcement the day before that Ayatollah Khamenei's
regime will assume the Presidency of the Conference on Disarmament.

— Hillel Neuer (@HillelNeuer) January 21, 2024

Derek Penslar, the William Lee Frost Professor of Jewish History in the
Faculty of Arts and Sciences, also published a book titled “Zionism: An
Emotional State” in which he stated that “veins of hatred run through Jewish
civilization” in reference to Biblical narrative.

“Prof Penslar has publicly minimized Harvard’s anti-Semitism problem,
rejected the definition used by the US government in recent years of anti-
Semitism as too broad, invoked the need for the concept of settler
colonialism in analyzing Israel, referred to Israel as an apartheid state and
more,” former Harvard President Lawrence H. Summers wrote on X, adding, “None
of this in my view is problematic for a professor at Harvard or even for a
member of the task force but for the co-chair of an anti-Semitism task force
that is being paralleled with an Islamophobia task force it seems highly
problematic.”

Author Ira Stoll stated that Penslar in a “December 29, 2023 Crimson op-ed,
criticized the International Holocaust Remembrance Association definition of
antisemitism and endorsed two alternative definitions. The IHRA definition
was backed by the Trump and Biden administrations and is included in federal
Department of Education guidance (which Penslar omitted from his op-ed).”

Background on Derek Penslar, Harvard professor named today by interim
president Alan Garber as co-chair of an antisemitism task force. I
think Penslar is a terrible selection to co-chair this task force.

“Harvard continues on the path of darkness,” billionaire investor Bill
Ackman, who helped lead the charge against former Harvard President Claudine
Gay, tweeted. Penslar defended Gay after she had testified before Congress
and avoided answering whether calling for the genocide of Jews violated
Harvard’s codes of conduct, saying, “It can be, depending on the context.”

The Harvard Kennedy School is set to host a Palestinian professor who called
Hamas’ massacre of Israeli civilians a “normal struggle for freedom,” and
said she would never forgive Israel’s government for “making us take their
children and elderly as hostages.”

Dalal Saeb Iriqat, a professor of diplomacy and conflict resolution at the
Arab American University in Ramallah is set to speak at the Harvard Kennedy
School’s Belfer Center as part of its Middle East Dialogues series on March
7, 2024.

On Oct. 7, while terrorists were still slaughtering Israeli civilians in the
Gaza envelope, Iriqat justified the attack.

“The world tolerated watching >35000 Palestinian youth seek refuge via
territorial waters, putting their lives at risk, choosing to drawn in the sea
over their miserable lives in a big prison called #Gaza after 17 yrs Israeli
siege [sic],” she posted to X, formerly Twitter. “Today is just a normal
human struggle 4 #Freedom.”

Shortly after, she said Palestinians “have the right to defend themselves,”
adding the she was “shocked that the world is shocked!”
A few hours later, she condemned those issuing statements in support of
Israel as its people were under attack.

“Statements of support to @netanyahu far right Israeli Gov can only fuel more
state organized terror and more impunity to Israel’s continued #crimes &
collective punishment against the Palestinian civilians,” she posted to X.

The next day, she seemingly aligned herself with Hamas and blamed Israel for
the attack.

“We will never forgive the Israeli right wing extreme government for making
us take their children and elderly as hostages,” she posted. “The Israeli
public need to realize that their own government had caused all this
bloodshed and they remain the ones responsible for this escalatin and losses
of civilians lives [sic].”

“We will never forgive the Israeli right wing extreme government for making
us take their children and elderly as hostages,” she posted. “The Israeli
public need to realize that their own government had caused all this
bloodshed and they remain the ones responsible for this escalatin and losses
of civilians lives [sic].”

Harvard University has been under mounting criticism for its response to
Hamas’ massacre, including a lawsuit being filed by Jewish students that
accuse the school of enabling antisemitism and selectively enforcing its
policies to avoid protecting Jewish students from harassment. The university
parted ways with its former president, Claudine Gay, as she dealt with
backlash over her public statements about combatting antisemitism on campus.

The professor’s radical pro-Hamas rhetoric has continued in the months since
the attack, even promoting conspiracy theories that Israel was lying about
what took place that day. On November 18, amid carrying out its weeks-long
effort to identify bodies burned by Hamas terrorists, Iriqat denied that they
were Israelis.

“The burnt bodies were Hamas militants,” she posted to Instagram.

She added that “Israeli helicopter fire may have killed ravers,” citing a
Haaretz article that has widely been taken out of context and used to blame
Israel for Hamas’ massacre of the partygoers at the NOVA festival. The Israel
Police slammed Haaretz’s article, which claims an unnamed police source said
an IDF helicopter “apparently harmed a few partygoers who were in the area,”
reported the Times of Israel.

On December 31, she said the conflict isn’t Israel versus Hamas.

“This is not an Israel Hamas conflict,” she posted. “Israel is waging a
series of #war_crimes against the Palestinians, this is not against Hamas,
this is against the Palestinian right of self determination,” she wrote. “I
urge everyone to refrain from the framing of Israel/Hamas or Israel/Gaza,
this is Israel Vs Palestine!!”

Iriqat also posted a cartoon of soldiers shooting on top of a wall displaying
a Jewish star combined with a swastika.

https://dw-wp-production.imgix.net/2024/02/Screenshot-2024-02-02-at-
12.01.06%E2%80%AFPM-768x452.png

On November 21, Iriqat chimed in on former Meta Chief Operating Officer
Sheryl Sandberg’s condemnation of Hamas’ rape of Israeli women.

“Yes 100 against rape, against violence as acts against humanity,” she
posted. “You spoke of rape in 2023, your voice went out for Israeli women,
are you aware that for decades Palestinian women documented harassment and
abuse cases by Israeli soldiers?”

“Don’t fall into #Hasbara, propaganda in 2023, truth and Justice shall
prevail [sic],” she wrote.

Harvard Kennedy School’s intention behind the speaker series is to help their
community members “understand what is happening and to expose them to the
best thinking on how peace may be achieved,” according to the announcement.

“At a time when much attention has been focused on our University and its
perceived failures in fostering dialogue on difficult, divisive issues, we
have been working quietly to demonstrate that this is in fact a place where
open inquiry, searching debate, and honest conversation can and do happen,”
it added.

It said the speakers were chosen because “they represent points of view that
I believe anyone who cares about the region can ill afford [to] ignore.”

Other speakers slated for the series include Jared Kushner, former senior
advisor to President Donald Trump, Salam Fayyad, the former prime minister of
the Palestinian Authority, Einat Wilf, a former member of the Israeli
Knesset, and Matt Duss, a foreign policy advisor to Sen. Bernie Sanders who
has been criticized for his antisemitic writing.

“We hope you will join us for these critical conversations, which I hope will
not just make us smarter, but also help us to better become instruments of
peace and prosperity in a part of the world that surely deserves them,” the
announcement reads.

Harvard University and Dalal Saeb Iriqat did not respond to a request for
comment.

“I am a visibly Jewish student and when Jewish students say they don’t feel
safe, let alone welcomed, it’s because of actions like this and we have no
faith that Harvard will do anything to stop it,” Kestenbaum added in the
video.

Kestenbaum and a few other students filed a lawsuit against Harvard earlier
this month, accusing the prestigious university of enabling anti-Semitism
and selectively enforcing its policies to avoid protecting Jewish students
from harassment. The university has parted ways with its former president,
Claudine Gay, in the aftermath of congressional testimony in which she failed
to deliver a strong message against anti-Semitism at the Ivy League
institution.

The lawsuit cites several incidents of mobs occupying campus buildings,
promoting violence, and assaulting Jews on campus. It also accuses
administrators and professors of promulgating anti-Semitism and the
university of partnering with a Palestinian university dominated by Hamas.

“It’s clear that Jews are neither welcomed nor safe at Harvard,” Kestenbaum,
who is suing Harvard over anti-Semitism, told The Daily Wire. “Harvard should
it ever decide to, can not only acknowledge this heinous anti-Semitic act,
but create a plan to dismantle and combat it.”

“I do not expect them to do either,” Kestenbaum added.

Harvard University, which has come under fire for its tolerance of anti-
Semitism on campus, is welcoming a professor from Rutgers University who has
said Israel is on a “depraved pursuit of wealth and privilege” and also
appeared on a panel with a Hamas leader who called Israel an “animal state.”

On March 4, Noura Erakat, an associate professor of Africana Studies at
Rutgers University, is scheduled to give a speech at the Harvard Center for
Middle Eastern Studies titled “We Charge Genocide: The Potential and Limits
of International Law,” Campus Reform reports.

In 2020, Erakat joined a panel on an online workshop that also featured Ghazi
Hamad, a senior Hamas leader who stated in 2006, “Israel should be wiped from
the face of the Earth. It is an animal state that recognizes no human worth.
It is a cancer that should be eradicated,” according to the New York Post.

On February 21, Erakat gave a lecture at Rutgers sponsored by the
university’s Center For Security, Race and Rights.

Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) ripped Rutgers, telling the New York Post that,
“Rutgers’ continued promotion of notorious antisemites increases the spread
of hate speech and the possibility of violence and harassment on campus.
While differing views are a crucial part of building cultural understanding,
universities cannot provide a bully pulpit for those who seek to divide and
spew hate.”

A spokesperson for Canary Mission told Campus Reform:

Rutgers University employs an antisemite who keeps company with a
Hamas commander. The continued employment of Noura Erekat by Rutgers
undermines their supposed commitment to combating antisemitism.
Canary Mission calls on Rutgers to fire Noura Erekat and take a
decisive stand against Antisemitism. Harvard hosting Noura Erekat is
yet another example of the once great institutions failure in the
face of standing up to antisemitism.

After a December 7 Rutgers event titled “Race, Liberation, and Palestine: A
Conversation with Noura Erakat, Nick Estes, and Marc Lamont Hill,” Gottheimer
wrote:

At a time when antisemitic acts and violence have been increasing
precipitously across the country, especially on college campuses,
including at Rutgers, providing these notorious antisemites a space
to further promote their well-known, extreme views will further
spread hate speech and increase the possibility of violence and
harassment on campus.

Anti-Israel protesters demonstrated for five hours outside two sold-out
concerts hosted for Harvard University students featuring Israeli pop star
Ishay Ribo, who says he came to the embattled Ivy League institution as a
show of support for its Jewish community.

“We in Israel heard — and the rest of the world heard — that Harvard’s
students got entangled in a complicated situation where there are a lot of
protests and support of Gaza here,” the Israeli singing sensation Ribo told
The Daily Wire. “We felt connection and importance in coming here to support
them and to thank America’s Jewish community. So the moment we heard it would
be possible to give a performance, we jumped on the opportunity with great
joy.”

Ribo was hosted by Harvard Chabad to lift the spirits of Jewish students who
have encountered months of turmoil and accusations of poorly handling anti-
Semitism on campus in the wake of Hamas’s October 7 massacre of Israeli
civilians.

“His music elevates us, comforts us, strengthens us, raises our consciousness
— our jewish consciousness — deepens our faith and restores and strengthens
our hope,” Harvard Chabad Rabbi Hirschy Zarchi said on stage.

Israeli Pop Star Ishay Ribo vs. Anti-Israel Protesters Outside His Concert

[Is the irony lost on anyone by the "Queers for Palestine" protesters?]

About 100 protesters across the street greeted concert attendees as they
lined up with boos and chants including the genocidal “from the river to the
sea, Palestine shall be free” chant often used by pro-Palestinian radicals in
cities across the United States, and is likewise seen as a call for ethnic
cleansing of the Jewish and other non-Arab populations that live in Israel.

“To walk into a space of love, we had to pass some darkness, some words of
hate,” Zarchi said. “Any time a Jew hears or witnesses hate to the Jewish
people, how do you respond? You love more, you love Jews deeper, you love
Israel more, and you stand up for her more. Ultimately with our love and our
positivity we will overwhelm the darkness and overwhelm the hate.”

A protester with a megaphone told the group that Ribo is guilty of playing
music for the Israeli Defense Forces soldiers.

“Ishay Ribo has been seen multiple times fraternizing with the IDF,” the man
shouted. “He has been seen on the front lines performing, singing, dancing
with the upmost support for the IDF. Support for the IDF is support for
genocide.”

Ribo said he thinks the protesters are demonstrating because it is trendy.

“I don’t know if the people there that were protesting realized what they
were protesting about, but inside it felt that there was truth, that there
was great light,” Ribo said through a translator backstage. “The people were
protesting on something they don’t really understand, they are clueless about
all the things that they have heard — half truths and they turned it into
some sort of amalgamation.”

The event was almost moved from its location at The Sinclair located next to
Harvard University because employees refused to work with more than thirty
attending the protest. Instead the venue had to rely on outside employees to
staff the event.

Last night @Accordion_Cory played a Fiddler on the Roof remix in
front of the anti-Israel protesters outside the Ishay Ribo concert
hosted by @HarvardChabad for students.

— Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) February 28, 2024

As Harvard students and local Jewish community members entered and exited the
building many counter-protested singing pro-Israel songs and dancing. Both
sides of the protests had their own musicians to keep their sides engaged.

On the pro-Israel side, a world accordion champion, Cory Pesaturo, played the
American and Israeli national anthems, Israeli pop music, and songs from
Fiddler in the Roof. He also performed the Israeli national anthem, Hatikvah,
on stage with Ribo during both shows.

A groundskeeper working at Harvard University was caught on camera acting aggressively after
being confronted for ripping down posters of Israeli hostages held by terrorists in Gaza on
Wednesday morning.

The man, sporting a reflective vest with the Harvard logo, stuffed the posters into a trash
bag in Harvard Yard before he was approached by an Israeli man, the video shows. The
posters, sponsored by Jewish organization Harvard Chabad, were put up the night before.

“Why are you taking them down?” the man recording the video asks the man, who is called
Jackson by his colleague.

“Because it’s my fucking job,” Jackson responded. “Fuck you, man.”

Harvard employees caught in the act of tearing hostage posters.
On the request of our Israeli students to raise awareness of the
suffering of their loved ones being held hostage in Gaza, Harvard
Chabad has been sponsoring posters of their loved ones. Against
university policy…
pic.twitter.com/wMuNs4F2LT

— Harvard Chabad (@HarvardChabad) March 20, 2024

A spokesman for Harvard University told The Daily Wire that Jackson is an employee of a
different company contracted to perform groundskeeping work.

“The University is aware of an incident that took place on Wednesday morning inside Harvard
Yard between a contract worker and another individual,” the spokesman said. “Harvard
strongly condemns the individual’s conduct reflected in the video of the incident, and, as a
result, the contract worker was directed to leave campus, and his employer has been notified
that the individual may not be assigned to return to campus to perform work in the future.”

“When I approached one of them, asking why he was removing those posters, he became very
aggressive and scary, moving toward me with aggressive body movements and cursing,” the
Israeli man, who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, told The Daily Wire. “I
had to step back. His colleague had to come between us at some point.”

“I have a family with two kids, and my wife is affiliated with Harvard,” he added. “We are
scared to walk by the yard and be confronted by this person again, or other Harvard Ops.
Other Jewish and Israeli people who live in the yard are scared too.”

Jackson can be seen screaming aggressively at the Israeli man, and being held back by his
colleague in the video.

“Get the fuck out of here motherfucker,” Jackson tells the man. “You are recording me
without permission because I am doing my stupid job.”

VIDEO: Anti-Israel Mob At Harvard Chants Outside Israeli Popstar Ishay Ribo’s Concert

According to the university’s policy posted on the board, fliers hung by recognized Harvard
affiliates are permitted and should only be removed on Monday and Thursday mornings for
cleaning.

“On the request of our Israeli students to raise awareness of the suffering of their loved
ones being held hostage in Gaza, Harvard Chabad has been sponsoring posters of their loved
ones,” Harvard Chabad wrote on Twitter. “It was only yesterday that we hosted at Harvard Law
School and at Harvard Chabad a delegation of Jewish and Muslim families who flew from Israel
to tell the stories of their loved ones who are being held hostage or who were murdered on
October 7.”

WATCH: Harvard Students Chant ‘Palestine Is Arab’ During On-Campus Protest

When the Israeli man told Jackson the flyers were sponsored by Harvard Chabad he said, “I
don’t give a fuck.”

Harvard has faced criticism in the wake of Hamas’ October 7 massacre for its failure to
combat anti-Semitism on campus. Jewish students filed a lawsuit that accuses the school of
enforcing its policies selectively to avoid protecting Jewish students from harassment.

Posters have been graffitied and removed from Harvard Yard several times since Hamas’s
brutal attack on Oct. 7, including on Monday when Jackson’s colleague explained the posting
rules to the same Israeli man, in a video obtained by The Daily Wire.

“It’s very likely the same Harvard team each time,” the man told The Daily Wire. “They are
supposed to remove all posters every Monday and Thursday, but it seems they remove the
hostage posters every morning.

Harvard Taps Embattled DEI Chief As Latest Addition to Anti-Semitism Task Force

“This is clearly an act against Jews,” he added.

At the start of the semester in January, hostage posters were desecrated with various anti-
Israel graffiti including accusing the Jewish state of being responsible for September 11
terrorist attacks.

Harvard University did not respond to a request for comment.

Sorry but I don't know any position anywhere where that would be
acceptable behaviour on the job - maybe WWE wrestler but nothing else
I can think of.

Does he not understand that if he's working for his company he's
representing them and if he's contracted to another organizer (like
Harvard) he represents them as well?

If one of my employees (I'm retired now but I had employees
pre-retirement) spoke that way to someone he had no idea whether he or
she was a customer he'd be canned with extreme prejudice and told not
to use us for a reference.

Harvard Law School’s student government is actively voting on a resolution to
boycott Israel through a secretive online ballot, a departure from bylaws
that required an in-person recorded vote.

The resolution, which can only be voted on through an anonymous Google survey
by members by Friday at 8:00 a.m., calls on all Harvard institutions to
divest from entities that have a hand in the “occupation of Palestine,”
without defining if “Palestine” includes only the West Bank and Gaza or
Israel proper as well.

“Harvard Law School Government calls upon all institutions and organizations
within the Harvard community to divest from institutions, weapons
manufacturers, firms, academic programs, corporations, and all other
institutions that aid the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestine and the
genocide of Palestinians,” the resolution states.

In an emergency meeting, the bylaws for the student government were amended
earlier this week to permit the secretive vote rather than complying with the
usual requirement of voting by roll call or acclamation.

“Our body decided to proceed via voting by Google form to address concerns
regarding doxxing and harassment,” the student government’s co-president
Agrawal Swap wrote in an email to the assistant dean of students obtained by
The Daily Wire. “The Student Council voted at the outset of Tuesday’s meeting
to amend the bylaws to allow the Student Council to consider and vote on this
resolution via a closed and anonymous Google form rather than a public list
and in-person roll call.”

Harvard Accused Of Promoting Eco-Terrorism For Plans To Screen ‘How To Blow
Up A Pipeline’ Film

The amendment met the two-thirds threshold for approval by a 12 out of 14
vote.

The Executive Board of Harvard Law School’s Alliance for Israel (AFI) slammed
the student government for holding the unannounced emergency meeting, and
failing to give them notice so they could voice opposition.

“We are deeply disappointed that Alliance for Israel, as an important
stakeholder in the community, was not informed about this meeting, nor
invited to speak,” the group wrote in a letter, adding that the student
government failed to pass any resolution condemning antisemitic attacks on
campus or Hamas’s October 7 massacre and rape of Israeli civilians.

“Even if the student government had done all of these things, this resolution
would still be wildly inappropriate,” the letter added. “The fact that it has
done none of these things makes matters all the worse.”

Shabbos Kestenbaum, a Harvard Divinity School student who is suing Harvard
over claims of enabling anti-Semitism, took issue with the representatives
seeing anonymity to avoid accountability.

“It is simply unacceptable to be an elected student representative on a hotly
contentious issue whilst expecting zero accountability for how you vote,” he
told The Daily Wire. “If these students, who believe that Israel is an
apartheid regime conducting ethnic cleansing, are our future policymakers,
Supreme Court justices, and lawyers, then our country is in serious danger.”

The resolution accuses Israel of conducting a “genocidal campaign in Gaza,”
ethnically cleansing Palestinians, and occupying “Palestine.”

“Furthermore, claims of an ‘ongoing illegal occupation of Palestine’ implies
Israel has no right to exist and threatens its legitimacy,” the AFI letter
states. “This resolution, compounded by the student government’s failure to
address antisemitism on campus and the violence and suffering Hamas caused
Israelis, sends a message to Jews and Israelis that they are not welcome at
HLS.”

The resolution relies upon reporting from the student newspaper, the Harvard
Crimson, which found that Harvard invested $200 million in companies tied to
the Israeli Defense Forces and Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria.

To build its case, the resolution cites Harvard’s history of divesting in
other situations including from some South African companies and tobacco
stocks.

Harvard did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

But since Harvard is managed by Jews, it makes it
a Jewish institution, so, logically, if Harvard
hates Jews, it is Jews fault!

But in reality, debates between Jews are hokey because
they are all on the same side. When some Jews
illegally collude against non-Jews, all 20,000,000
Jews side with the predators. That's how Harvard
became Jewish.

Harvard Law School's student government is actively voting on a
resolution to boycott Israel through a secretive online ballot, a
departure from bylaws that required an in-person recorded vote.
The resolution, which can only be voted on through an anonymous Google
survey by members by Friday at 8:00 a.m., calls on all Harvard
institutions to divest from entities that have a hand in the "occupation
of Palestine," without defining if "Palestine" includes only the West
Bank and Gaza or Israel proper as well.
Private schools should be treated like religious institutions. If the
meddle in politcal matters, they should lose federal funding.
Funny that your kin never had balls to do anything when private and public
schools were shitting on Whites.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports are you babbling about?

But since Harvard is managed by Jews,
Not only that. If I remember correctly, 25% of Harvard students are Jews
(in a country where they are 2% of population).

Pretence that Harvard “hates Jews” is laughable.

A Harvard University employee challenged a Jewish student who is currently
suing the Ivy league school over anti-Semitism to a debate on Israel’s role
in 9/11, according to a copy of the harassing email obtained by The Daily
Wire.

“I invite you to debate me today at the Cambridge Street overpass 12-1, don’t
miss it!” Gustavo Espada, an active university employee, wrote in a Thursday
email to Shabbos Kestenbaum, the student. “If you don’t show up I will use a
puppet or potted plant to represent you!”

Espada sent the email from his official Harvard account with the subject
line, “invitation to debate Israeli role in 9/11.” He also offered to plan a
“more formal” debate in a “large venue” on campus.

Your tweet on X is getting a lot of attention! That's fantastic. As
such, I invite you to debate me today at the Cambridge Street
overpass 12-1, don't miss it! If you don't show up I will use a
puppet or potted plant to represent you! ?? We can always schedule a
more formal one in large venue on campus.

Espada is the financial and systems coordinator for the Department of East
Asian Languages and Civilizations, according to Harvard University’s website.
He is also a Harvard alumni who graduated in 1996 and a member of the Harvard
Union of Clerical and Technical Workers, according to his email signature.
Espada did not agree to an on the record interview. Harvard did not respond
to a request for comment.

“PS stop saying I hate Jews unless that is something you want,” Espada added
in the email. “I hate Israel and Zionism with a passion and you know full
well they are two different things.”

Kestenbaum, along with other students, filed a lawsuit against the Ivy League
earlier this month, accusing it of selectively enforcing its policies to
avoid protecting Jewish students from harassment and enabling anti-Semitism.

“It would stand to reason that someone this hateful would have attended, and
continue to work, at Harvard,” Kestenbaum, who notified the Cambridge Police
Department of Espada’s actions, told The Daily Wire. “Harvard, to this day,
has yet to introduce or enforce a concrete plan of action pertaining to their
dismantling of antisemitism on campus.”

“The time for task forces, statements, and apologies are over,” he added. “I
want action and I want it yesterday.”

Espada also referenced posters of Israeli hostages that were defaced earlier
this week with 9/11 conspiracies, which Kestebaum documented on his X,
formerly known as Twitter, account

Vandalism Ahead Of New Semester

“Perhaps you and your allies want to start acting in better faith, starting
with a public correction of the false claims you have made about the posters,
and an apology to the community for inflaming passions at this difficult time
with false statements?” Espada added in the email.

A X account that appears to belong to Espada, with account name “9/11 Guy”
posted at Kestenbaum Thursday defending the vandalism on the posters that
blames Israel for 9/11.

“The posters make no mention of Jews, only Israel and its lies including the
5?Israelis arrested on 9/11 and the obvious demolition with explosives of the
WTC, [sic]” he wrote.

Espada reiterated the call for a debate, this time at the “science center.”

“Anyone wishing to debate me should come to the science center today between
12 and 1!” he added. “All individuals and news outlets publishing incorrect
and/or libelous statements about these events is hereby served notice.”

Havard posters on campus
In photos obtained by The Daily Wire, the words “lies” and “fake” were
written over one of the hostage posters. In another, “Sure, Jan” was written
over the face of 23-year-old hostage Romi Gonen.

Espada’s X account is full of posts with conspiracy theories about Jews and
Israel.

Espada called for Israel to “be wiped off the map” on January 20, 2024.

“Why, because I think Israel should be wiped off the map for what it’s done
around the world?” he posted. “I think what I am is an ‘antisemite’ because I
have no problem with Jews per se, just the ones who think there’s a different
set of rules for them.”

2.44.33%E2%80%AFPM-768x265.png

He questioned the legitimacy of Hamas’s October 7 attack against Israeli
civilians, tweeting, “IDF helicopter fired into kibbutz. No beheaded babies.
What if any part of 10/7 is real?”

In a video Espada posted of himself in Harvard Square, he shouted at police
officers and chants “From the River to the Sea,” and “Globalize the
intifada.”

On January 23, he shared a tweet with a picture of Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro
and Elon Musk at the concentration camp, Auschwitz, from another user that
accused Zionists and globalists of being “the same people who rule America
and their vassals.”

“This is power,” he wrote, responding to the tweet. “A certain kind of power
on the decline, but nevertheless, bear witness to it for posterity!”

By Hamas

On the same day, he returned to his 9/11 conspiracies, posting, “one thing I
learned on 9/11 and will never forget is how good Israelis are with
explosives.”

In a TikTok post Thursday night, Espada spoke in Spanish while waving around
a toy machete, claiming he is ready to fight to win. “I’m not going to go
into details but this is a good plan. So if you follow us, this is what’s
happening,” he says in Spanish before photos of various high-profile Jews and
a screenshot of Kestenbaum’s tweet.

Espada has been active in pushing 9/11 conspiracy theories for 18 years,
according to a 2006 piece in The Lowell Sun which reported he spends 10 hours
a week “handing out literature, Web logging and talking with people on the
street about his views on 9/11.”

“I don’t think anybody has a 100 percent view of what actually did happen on
9/11,” he told the paper at the time.

Harvard University is employing around-the-clock security to protect an
anti-Israel “apartheid wall” created by students that features a quote from
the leader of a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.

The wall includes various anti-Israel art and a quote from Ghassan Kanafani,
the former spokesperson for the Popular Front for the Liberation of
Palestine, a communist Palestinian terrorist organization known for hijacking
aircraft and mass murder. Kanafani was assassinated in Beirut in June of 1972
by the Mossad after being linked to the massacre of 26 people—including
American tourists—at Ben Gurion airport two months earlier, according to
Jewish News Syndicate.

“The Palestinian cause is not a cause for Palestinians only, but a cause for
every revolutionary wherever he is, as a cause of the exploited and oppressed
masses in our era,” the Kanafani quote reads.

The guards have been giving the display 24-hour coverage while sporting
jackets with a Securitas logo, a security firm that has a relationship with
Harvard. A Harvard alum who lives near campus told The Daily Wire that one of
the security guards started yelling when asked who he was employed by.

“He thought that we were filming and started yelling at us that we are
escalating the situation and that he is going to call his supervisor,” the
alum who wishes to remain anonymous for fear of retribution said. “He started
walking to the car and then turned around and started yelling that we are
going to threaten him in his family, because this is what ‘you people do,’
threaten people and steal their lands.”

When the alum notified the Harvard Police, they confirmed he worked for a
security firm contracted by the school and said that the guard would not
return to protect the wall.

“To pay to have a guard 24/7 protecting a wall that displays statements
issued by U.S.-designated terror organizations, and propagates conspiracies
against Israel and the Jewish people, and simultaneously not do so to protect
posters of hostages whose photos have been hatefully and regularly defaced
and vandalized, is bizarre and poor judgment in the extreme,” Harvard Chabad
Rabbi Hirschy Zarchi told The Daily Wire.

Fliers of Jewish civilians taken hostage by Hamas have been repeatedly
vandalized on campus, including last month when a groundskeeper employed by a
company contracted by Harvard acted aggressively when being confronted for
ripping down posters. He was asked to leave campus and will not be assigned
to work on campus again, according to a Harvard spokesperson.

In another incident, hostage posters were vandalized with anti-Semitic and
9/11 conspiracy graffiti at the start of this spring semester.

In December, Zarchi revealed for the first time that the university told him
that he must put away the menorah he lights on campus during Hannukah to
avoid vandalism.

“The university, since the first Hanukkah, would not allow us to keep this
menorah here overnight because there is fear that it will be vandalized,” he
said at the time. “We in the Jewish community are instructed, ‘We’ll let you
have the menorah. You made your point. Okay, pack it up. Don’t leave it out
overnight because there will be criminal activity, we fear, and it won’t look
good.”

“It pains me to have to say, sadly, that Jew-hate and anti-Semitism is
thriving on this campus,” he added. “26 years I’ve given my life to this
community. I’ve never felt so alone.”

Shabbos Kestenbaum, a graduate student who is suing Harvard over claims of
enabling anti-Semitism, said the quote is part of a bigger trend of anti-
Jewish hate on the campus.

“It is hardly surprising that the same group of students who interrupt
classes to yell about globalizing the intifada, publish and promote anti-
Semitic cartoons, and intimidate Jewish students on campus would also be
comfortable quoting and glorifying Palestinian terrorism,” he said.

Harvard University did not respond to a request for comment.

there something special about Jews? Besides the fact that they are
committing genocide, of course.

You already tried that, and failed.
No Rudy, you failed to prove it.
You made a flatly wrong assertion.
Prove it. What’s the problem?

Harvard University is employing around-the-clock security to protect an
anti-Israel “apartheid wall” created by students that features a quote
from the leader of a U.S.-designated terrorist organization.
But Harvard doesn't provide any security for Jewish students who have
been targeted for violence from the same students that put up the wall.
I believe I posted an article earlier about Harvard telling the Jews they
could not guarantee that their menorah exhibit would not be vandalized.
I don't remember Harvard providing special protection to Christians. Is
there something special about Jews? Besides the fact that they are
committing genocide, of course.

Perhaps it would be good idea to check who exactly was shitting on Whites
in those universities.

For example, Harvard professor Noel Ignatiev:

“The key to solving the social problems of our age is to abolish the white
race.”

“If you’re a white male you do not deserve to live, you’re a disease, you
have never contributed anything positive to the world.”

"Make no mistake about it: we intend to keep bashing the dead white males,
and the live ones, and the females too, until the social construct known as
'the white race' is destroyed—not 'deconstructed' but destroyed."

President Joe Biden, in a call with Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu, demanded that Israel enact an "immediate
ceasefire" in its war against Hamas and threatened that the
U.S. would change its support for Israel if it does not meet
the administration's demands.

Biden attacked Israel for the humanitarian situation inside
Gaza, calling it "unacceptable," even though Israel has worked
to allow aid to flow into the area, but has had to do so in a
manner that prevents weapons from entering.

"[Biden] made clear the need for Israel to announce and
implement a series of specific, concrete, and measurable steps
to address civilian harm, humanitarian suffering, and the
safety of aid workers," the White House said in a readout of
the call. "He made clear that U.S. policy with respect to Gaza
will be determined by our assessment of Israel's immediate
action on these steps."

"He underscored that an immediate ceasefire is essential to
stabilize and improve the humanitarian situation and protect
innocent civilians, and he urged the Prime Minister to empower
his negotiators to conclude a deal without delay to bring the
hostages home," the statement continued.

White House National Security Communications Adviser John
Kirby confirmed at the White House press briefing shortly
after the readout was published that Biden did threaten Israel
if it did not meet his demands.

"If there's no changes to their policy and their approaches,
then there's going to have to be changes to ours," Kirby said.

Biden's continued shift away from supporting Israel comes as
he trails former President Donald Trump in the polls,
including in swing states where far-Left Democrats and Muslim
voters disprove of his support for Israel.

The shift also comes after The New York Times reported this
week that his wife, first lady Jill Biden, reportedly demanded
that Biden stop Israel's airstrikes against Hamas targets
inside Gaza.

"Stop it, stop it now, Joe," Jill Biden reportedly said.

Her remarks come after several aid workers were killed by
accident in an Israeli airstrike this week.

"Unfortunately, in the past day there was a tragic event in
which our forces unintentionally harmed non-combatants in the
Gaza Strip," Netanyahu said in a statement. "This happens in
war. We are conducting a thorough inquiry and are in contact
with the governments. We will do everything to prevent a
recurrence."

During Biden's disastrous withdraw from Afghanistan in 2021 --
which has led to a reemergence of ISIS that top officials are
warning poses a serious threat to U.S. national security -- 10
innocent Afghan nationals, including seven children, were
killed in a U.S. drone strike.

The drone strike happened as U.S. forces were on high alert
following a terror attack at the airport in Kabul that killed
13 U.S. troops.

Biden has said little-to-nothing about the drone strike.

At Columbia University, responding to a religious Jew who noted that
Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people, Jill Stein, the hard-left
presidential candidate for the Green Party, snapped, “The Jews have
Poland.”

Roughly half of the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust died in
Poland. Additionally, although Ashkenazic Jews were located in Europe,
Sephardic Jews have lived in many lands outside of Europe, from the
Middle East to Africa.

Stein, who has supported the BDS movement targeting Israel, called for
ending all aid to the Jewish state, and spoke at the March4Gaza rally
in mid-January, declared, “I’m Jewish and I’m here. It’s a Jewish
value, opposing genocide. Opposing genocide is a Jewish value. Opposing
genocide is a core value.”

The Jewish man near her stated that Israel was the homeland of the
Jewish people.

“The Jewish people have Poland,” Stein replied, before launching into a
rant in which she accused “Israeli offense forces … Israel occupation
forces” who were there “to further instigate violence here against
civilians, against students who are simply standing up for our
constitutional rights to have this debate, to have this discussion …”

Stein then appropriated a phrase that has traditionally applied to Jews
to paint Palestinians as victims, saying, “It’s really critical that we
stand up because Gazans are the canary in the mine shaft here and what
happens in Gaza can happen and will happen anywhere.”

The U.S. State Department has acknowledged, “Jews have often been
called the ‘canary in the coal mine.’ Anti-Semitic attacks have often
been a sign of a deeper sickness in society; they can warn of coming
attacks in other populations.”

In 2019, British Labor MP John Mann, who was appointed as the British
government’s adviser on anti-Semitism, stated, “When it comes to
fighting anti-Semitism, it’s not enough for us to stand shoulder-to-
shoulder with the Jewish community, when the anti-Semites are throwing
the stones of hatred, of bitterness, of bile. We have to stand in front
of [Jews] in this fight. This must not be only the responsibility of
the Jewish community.”

“I represent a community that was comprised of coal miners,” he
continued. “Coal miners who, when this country needed it, spent their
lives underground digging coal. And what the coal miners in the
collieries in my area did to warn against the impending doom was to
take a small bird in a cage down the pit with them. A yellow canary.
The Jewish community is the canary in the coal mine for humanity and
for the safety and future of my grandchildren. That’s why we have,
whether we like it or not, no choice.”

In which Jill Stein says that the Jewish people have a
homeland in Poland and that .1 percent of Jews are Zionists.

Both absolutely false.

Poland was the country where the most Jews were murdered
during the Holocaust (millions) and today Jews represent .05%
of the population… pic.twitter.com/nf2NzXVnWE
— Yashar Ali ?? (@yashar) April 26, 2024

What the hell did I just watch?

Jill Stein, the Green Party leader, says Jews can go back to
Poland, that Zionists are 0.1% of Jews (we are over 95% of
Jews) that the Israeli army is attacking American students on
campus and they are at a risk of a genocide.

Not surprising given where the death camps were located - which you
can't really pin on the Poles given the camps were mostly built in
1940-41 and we know who was running the show in Poland then.

What you CAN blame the Poles for are things like the 1946 Kielce
pogrom (which happens to be my mother in law's family home town though
they had emigrated to Canada in the 1920s) where the Nazis were
definitely NOT in charge by then.

The revered Columbia Journalism School issues this year’s Pulitzer Prizes on
its New York campus this week, with an unaddressed problem next door in its
own hallowed “Pulitzer Hall.” Prominently displayed inside the lobby,
Columbia Journalism School has allowed a memorial shrine to fallen Gazan
“journalists” who were anything but that.

As I reported in The Daily Mail five days before the school’s 108th award
ceremony, at least 15 of the journalists worked for U.S. Treasury
Department-designated terrorist entity, “Al Aqsa TV,” Hamas’ primary
propaganda arm. President Barack Obama designated Al Aqsa TV in 2010 after it
pressed children to become suicide bombers and learn to use the AK-47, loudly
praised terrorist bombings in Israel, and routinely urged civilian
slaughters. The U.S. State Department declared the station’s owner, Hamas, a
Foreign Terrorist Organization in 1997, as have dozens of Western nations.

That’s not even the worst of it.

In 2016, Obama’s State Department designated the station’s director, Hamas
interior minister Fathi Ahmad Mohammad Hammad, as a Specially Designated
Global Terrorist. Hammad served as a senior military commander who supervised
military tunnel construction under Gaza, where Hamas is hiding 130 Israeli
hostages its terrorists seized during the October 7 attack; and “coordinated
terrorist cells,” U.S. government documents state.

Six more on the journalism school’s walls worked for the Hamas-owned Al Aqsa
Voice Radio, a sibling of the TV station whose broadcasters have called on
Gazans to act as human shields for Hamas offices and routinely encourage
civilian murder.

Eleven more are accused by Israel of working for propaganda outlets
controlled by three other groups the United States has legally declared
outlawed terrorist organizations, including the ultra-violent rocket-
launching Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

As it prepared to hand out Pulitzer Prizes, the journalism school ignored my
emailed questions. But journalism groups, including the main one who drafted
the tribute list upon which the school memorial is predicated — the Committee
to Protect Journalists — trotted out an old, largely unchallenged argument
for promulgating its list: they’re still journalists if they self-identified
as journalists and weren’t pulling triggers.

That line of justification occupies extreme fringes of mainstream academia
counterterrorism, military, and law enforcement thinking worldwide, notably
in the United States. The U.S. homeland security establishment regards the
pen and camera of terrorist propagandists as deadly as fingers on triggers —
and would kill or prosecute half of those on Columbia Journalism School’s
wall if given a chance.

Indeed, the U.S. Homeland Security and presidents on both sides of the aisle
regard propagandists for designated terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda
as dangerous enough to assassinate abroad with Hellfire missiles. Inside the
United States, the establishment prosecutes and imprisons propagandists like
those on Columbia Journalism School’s walls whenever possible. American
journalism institutions are so far out of step with the rest of the civilized
world that an argument can be made that their political stunts aid and abet
the murder of real people.

The line of argument journalism groups use to defend their tribute lists
The binary “if-not-combatant-then-hero” argument is hardly new. It last flew
in 2013, overcoming Jewish and pro-Israel groups that bitterly complained
when the now-defunct Newseum in Washington D.C. included two Al-Aqsa TV
cameramen on a highly prominent KIA memorial list projected on a 74-foot
First Amendment tablet facing Pennsylvania Avenue. They’d been killed in an
outbreak of violence between Hamas and Israel.

Dozens of journalism groups, including the Committee to Protect Journalists
(CPJ), vigorously argued that the two cameramen weren’t carrying weapons or
conducting surveillance when Israel bombed their vehicle, which they’d marked
as TV press. The Newseum initially pulled the names but then bought into the
narrative that these two cameramen weren’t carrying weapons and therefore
belonged back in the tribute.

Now the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) is pushing the same narrative
for its new 2024 tribute list upon which the journalism school’s Pulitzer
Hall memorial is based.

“CPJ does not support journalists engaged in breaking the law,” the group
told me in an email containing a recycled earlier statement about its tribute
list. “In the cases we have documented, multiple sources have found no
evidence to date that these journalists were engaged in militant activity.”

On that basis alone, the argument follows, they were legitimate journalists
who died in noble public service. More than 100 news organizations have
joined the committee in signing a letter in February attesting to worthiness
of its tribute on the sole grounds that none were throwing bombs.

It’s time to debunk the intellectual defense these journalism groups rely on
to recast terrorist propagandists as noble journalists who died in public
service.

Propaganda Kills
Because they hold that propaganda kills just as surely as bullets and bombs,
the United States and its Western allies have mounted relentless counter-
propaganda campaigns against terrorist radio, television, and online media
outlets just like those run by Hamas and the Palestine Islamic Jihad out of
Gaza. The key feature of this campaign are assassination hunts overseas for
ISIS and al-Qaeda propagandists in the long-settled academic science, rooted
in consistent academic studies, that nonviolent propaganda for terrorist
groups tightly correlates with attack frequency and human casualties
worldwide.

“The continued presence of terrorist content on the web is a grave risk to
citizens and to society at large,” the European Commission concluded in one
typical policy paper proposing the find and remove such content. “Terrorists
misuse the internet to spread their messages to intimidate, radicalize,
recruit and facilitate carrying out terrorist attacks.”

One of the more prominent hunts ended with an August 30, 2016 precision
airstrike by U.S.-led coalition forces that killed ISIS propaganda leader and
spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, whose grisly propaganda empire in slick
monthly magazines Dabiq, Rumiya and radio and TV stations was credited with
drawing thousands of recruits to Syria and inspiring murderous attacks around
the globe.

Foreign Policy magazine, among many other creditable sources, quoted active-
duty government professionals and diplomats who credited his media work and
messaging with inspiring followers to kill. U.S.-led coalition forces finally
killed Adnani on August 30, 2016 in a precision airstrike near Al Bab, Syria.

That was hardly the first or last U.S. killing of a terrorist propagandist
overseas, including American ones. In September 2011, President Obama
controversially ordered a Hellfire missile strike that killed U.S. born al-
Qaeda propagandist Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen, saying his body of work killed
people and “posed an imminent threat of violence or death to other Americans”
even if he himself did not shoot the guns or detonate the bombs.

Al-Awlaki’s lectures and other propaganda were seen as the chief inspiration
for the bloody 2015 terror attack that killed 15 people in San Bernardino,
California; Hassan Nidal’s deadly 2010 attack at Fort Hood, Texas; the Faisal
Shahzad attack on Times Square; the Boston bombing and dozens of others
around the world that killed hundreds of innocents.

In April 2015, the CIA fired Hellfire missiles in Pakistan that killed U.S.-
born Adam Gadahn, known as “Azzam the American” another notorious
propagandist for al Qaeda whose work was considered so dangerous the U.S.
government put out a $1 million reward for his arrest on treason charges in
California.

In March 2017, another U.S. airstrike killed ISIS propaganda chief Ibrahim al
Ansari in Iraq for inciting vehicle, knife and arson attacks against American
citizens.

In the Israel-Gaza theater, the U.S. and Europe have left assassination
operations to Israel, which is plenty enough capable of taking out these
propagandists and often does so just like the Americans and European allies.

Hard Time For Terrorist Propaganda
In December 2019, a U.S. federal judge sentenced Texas-born Dallas resident
Said Azzam Mohamad Rahim to a hefty 30-year prison sentence for terrorism.
But Rahim didn’t earn that punishment for killing anyone himself.

He’s in prison for spreading a “warped ideology on social media” and for
“promoting violence against innocent people, including Americans,” a
Department of Justice press release stated. For years from his home in North
Texas, Rahim moderated a “State of the Islamic Caliphate” social media
channel on Zello dedicated to recruiting ISIS fighters and where he touted
acts of terror.

“Kill and do not consult anyone,” he said in on 2016 message. “Kill, by any
means. Smash his head on the wall. Spit in his face. Burn, I mean anything,
anything. Poison anything!”

Even if America’s institutions of journalism refuse to see it, Rahim’s
prosecution and 30-year sentence are but one of many emblematic examples of
how the entire United States security establishment views the provision of
propaganda on behalf of a designated terror organization.

So profoundly fearful of non-violent activities was Congress and the White
House after 9/11 that it expanded and enhanced “material support for
terrorism” statutes that carry harsh sentences that include life in prison.
One of the key provisions of these laws targets anyone who knows full well
that they “work “under that terrorist organization’s direction or control”
and that it has been designated as a terror organization.

These criminal “material support” statutes have been used to send U.S.-based
jihadists to prison hundreds of times for more than two decades, often for
spreading propaganda on behalf of designated terrorist groups or doing
anything at all to support their murderous missions.

The U.S. justice system has brooked no mercy for Hamas operatives inside the
United States who merely raised money for Hamas. The DOJ in 2002 broke up and
prosecuted the largest Hamas fundraising operation in U.S. history, the Holy
Land Foundation, dishing out prison sentences ranging to 65 years for the
so-called “Holy Land five” who were prosecuted in Dallas.

What does this history mean in today’s context? It means that heralded U.S.
journalism institutions like Columbia Journalism School – most especially
those inside the United States – should never get away unchallenged with
fringe justifications for lionizing propagandists for designated terrorist
groups in KIA lists and memorials.

That’s because their involvement in enabling tribute memorials qualify, on
their own as twisted propaganda that helps those terrorist organizations keep
killing people when the rest of the civilized world believes that is morally
wrong and legally prosecutable.

I know you’re braindead, but I thought you’re at least able to tell the
difference between Hamas and ISIS.

Since you’re such an expert in Middle East, riddle me this. Resisting
Israel is enormously popular cause in Muslim world, and has been for
decades. Why ISIS is not attacking Israel, but instead always was targeting
Israel’s enemies?

The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) blocked a pro-Israel event
from happening on Wednesday, according to the conservative student group
hosting the event.

The student group, UCLA’s Young America’s Foundation (YAF) chapter, accused
the university of caving to pressure from “pro-Hamas campus radicals” who
have engaged in “violent” protests and encampments for weeks.

The event was slated to begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. The featured speaker
was author and counter-Jihad expert Robert Spencer.

However, on the day of the event, the YAF team discovered that the doors to
the event room were locked, the student chairman of UCLA’s YAF chapter,
Matthew Weinberg told The Daily Wire.

When they contacted university officials, they were informed that their event
would need to be relocated to a “very old and inconvenient” location on
campus that is much less trafficked, Weinberg said. This was an “unacceptable
last minute change that would have significantly impacted the event’s
attendance and impact,” YAF said in a post about the incident.

“Ultimately, we were barred from utilizing the designated room for our
event,” Weinberg said, adding that he had reserved the room over a month ago.

Administrators allegedly refused to open the locked doors, citing “security
concerns.”

In the weeks prior, UCLA administrators also allegedly stalled the event’s
approval process, according to the student group. Administrators told the
group that if the pro-Palestinian encampment was still in place on the day of
the event, it would be too dangerous for an event expressing opposing views
to happen, the group said.

The student group brought in legal counsel and contested that decision,
arguing that it was an unconstitutional use of the heckler’s veto. At first,
the university appeared to reconsider.

“The school threw up roadblock after roadblock to try and prevent the event
from happening. Eventually, the school granted approval, albeit on very short
notice,” Weinberg said.

In the end though, the event was blocked, the group said.

“The move is also a clear violation of students’ constitutional rights,” YAF
said in its post.

UCLA said it was “misinformation” that the event was canceled.

“The event took place in the designated location after it shifted to a
closed, recorded event as proposed by the organizer and agreed to by UCLA,”
Mary Osako, vice chancellor of strategic communications at UCLA, said in a
statement to The Daily Wire.

YAF pushed back on the university’s characterization, saying the event never
took place.

“The statement from UCLA is not correct. To be clear, our event did not take
place,” YAF told The Daily Wire.

YAF’s president, former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, warned that YAF is
prepared to take UCLA to court over the issue.

“Conservative students should have the same rights as the pro-Hamas students
who have routinely obstructed and violently disrupted the UCLA campus,”
Walker said in a statement to The Daily Wire.

“UCLA canceled YAF’s access to the lecture hall while allowing protestors to
freely roam the campus. Like we did against UC, Berkeley, YAF will prevail
against UCLA in court!” Walker said.

Weinberg, the YAF chapter student chairman, expressed disappointment at the
university’s move.

“Our chapter harbors profound disappointment towards the administration for
permitting unlawful pro-Hamas encampments to flout both legal statutes and
school policies, thereby enabling these agitators and students to perpetrate
physical harassment and assaults against Jewish students,” Weinburg said.
“Our sole intent was to host a Pro-Israel event welcoming individuals of all
backgrounds and viewpoints, aimed at fostering dialogue often absent from
college campuses. This is not only a double standard, but a clear
infringement upon our First Amendment rights.”

“As a result, we have chosen to pursue legal recourse,” he added.

Spencer, the event’s speaker, had strong words for the school, accusing it of
indoctrinating students with leftist ideology.

“UCLA and other universities today are not institutions of higher learning;
they are radioactive wastelands of hard-left indoctrination,” Spencer said.

Comedian Michael Rapaport slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) this
week after the far-Left politician attacked Israel after the country defended
itself from rocket attacks originating from inside Rafah.

“The IDF’s attack on a tent camp of innocents in Rafah is an indefensible
atrocity,” AOC claimed after the IDF responded to Hamas firing eight rockets
into Israel over the weekend. “This was done in open defiance of @POTUS’s red
line and the ICJ’s call for a ceasefire. It is long past time for the
President to live up to his word and suspend military aid.”

Rapaport responded to AOC’s remarks in a video posted to X: “Today, this
morning, Hamas from Rafah, you know #AllEyesOnRafah, from Rafa — Hamas, those
s***ting pedophiliac, necrophiliac, arsonist, kidnapping creep cocksuckers —
shot rockets into Tel Aviv.”

Rapaport noted that the Iron Dome shot down the rockets: “Fortunately, Baruch
Hashem, the Iron Dome, Iron Dome, like the Dikembe Mutombo, ‘No, no, no.'”

“But let’s not forget when AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — you know
Alexandria with the good hair, you know Alexandria from the Bronx — remember
when she cried those ‘Days of Our Lives’ tears,” he continued. “Remember when
she cried when funding for the Iron Dome went through? Let’s not forget,
here’s a clip.”

Rapaport showed the clip of AOC wearing a mask on the House floor showing her
visibly upset that the U.S. voted to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome missiles so
it could defend itself from terrorist attacks.

Rapaport burst out laughing at AOC crying: “Fuck your tears. Fuck the Squad.
Fuck Jamaal Bowman. Fuck Ilhan Omar. Fuck Rashida Tlaib. And fuck your whole
fuckin crew, you Jew-hating Israel anti-Zionist miserable motherfuckers.”

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office dropped the majority of
criminal charges that were filed against pro-Hamas extremists earlier this
year after they stormed Columbia University.

Bragg -- who prosecuted former President Donald Trump in a highly
controversial case because he claimed that no one is above the law --
dismissed the trespassing charges against 31 of the 46 defendants.

His office claimed that there was a lack of evidence to tie the suspects to
the takeover of the Ivy League school's Hamilton Hall, which garnered
significant national news coverage.

"This is turnstile justice," Michael Nussbaum, a 25-year member of the Jewish
Community Relations Council of New York, told the New York Post. "This a
green light for chaos, a green light for destroying property."

Police sources raged at the move by Bragg, who is backed by Democrat
megadonor George Soros, telling the publication that the decision to toss out
the charges was outrageous.

"Lack of evidence?" one police officer responded. "Apparently body-worn
camera wasn't enough?"

Another said: "We have a DA giving them what amounts to a mandate to push the
envelope further now."

A popular conservative attorney responded to the news by posting on X that it
was "impossible to ignore the fact that his office pursues political
vendettas while giving actual criminals a pass."

Senior CNN political commentator Scott Jennings highlighted the contrast in
how Bragg decided to go after Trump vs. the pro-Hamas extremists.

"Trump - filed the wrong sex paperwork / 34 felonies!" he posted on X.
"Vandals and terrorist sympathizers - meh, go about your business."

A Massachusetts Institute of Technology student testified before Congress on
Tuesday, detailing that current labor laws failed to protect him from
pervasive antisemitism inside his union, which he is required to be a member
of.

“I’ve tried to use the law as it exists and at every turn, the law has failed
me,” MIT graduate student William Sussman said. The computer science doctoral
candidate cited numerous examples of MIT Graduate Student Union (GSU)
staffers occupying buildings, being arrested, and passing a “ceasefire
resolution” that did not mention the words “hostages,” “Hamas,” or “peace.”

“The blood had not yet dried when my colleagues at MIT declared ‘Victory is
Ours,’”’ Sussman said, referring to a student group sharing an advertisement
of an anti-Israel rally one day after Hamas’s massacre of more than 1,000
Israelis on October 7.

The “Confronting Union Antisemitism: Protecting Workers from Big Labor
Abuses,” hearing held by the House Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor
and Pensions comes amid unions across the country engaging in anti-Israel
political activism including passing one-sided resolutions, organizing
protests, and persecuting Zionist members.

MIT grad student Sussman tells @RepWalberg current federal law does
not adequately protect him or other Jewish students against forced
anti-Israel, anti-American political activity.

“The law has failed me.” pic.twitter.com/cnZWNNwujJ

— House Committee on Education & the Workforce (@EdWorkforceCmte)
July 9, 2024

According to Sussman, he was denied a request to have a religious
accommodation that would use his compulsory union dues to fund a charity
instead of the union’s political activity.

“The union denied my request, telling me in a letter that ‘no principles,
teachings or tenets of Judaism prohibit membership in or the payment of dues
or fees to a labor union,’” he said, adding that the union “thinks it
understands my faith better than I do.”

Sussman is not the only union member who recently grew disenchanted with
their union, according to Glenn Taubman, a staff attorney at the National
Right to Work Foundation who also testified.

“The phones are ringing off the hook like never before,” Taubman told The
Daily Wire. “I am being called every day by lifelong liberals, lifelong union
people, who were mugged by reality.”

He said he is working full time on cases accusing the union of anti-Semitism.

“I’ve been fighting union compulsion for more than 40 years, but we’ve never
fought anti-Semitic union compulsion,” Taubman added. “This is a whole new
beast that basically did not exist until all of these unions decided they
were going to be pro-Hamas and pro-terror after October 7.”

Sussman filed a charge against the union to the National Labor Relations
Board (NLRB) which agreed his rights were violated. Eventually, the union
began approving religious accommodations after five discrimination charges.

Sussman is one of six MIT graduate students being represented by the National
Right to Work Foundation in federal proceedings against the GSU.

Calling himself a “lifelong Democrat,” Sussman advocated for a National Right
to Work Act “so that unions have to earn their dues and think twice before
discriminating against minorities.”

“Jewish graduate students are a minority at MIT,” Sussman said. “We can’t
remove the GSU or disabuse it of its antisemitism. But we also can’t support
an organization that actively works toward the eradication of the Jewish
homeland, where I have family living now.”

During the hearing, Taubman read messages he received from union members at
the City University of New York (CUNY) claiming nails were found in Jewish
members’ tires, malicious campaigns were launched to Zionist members fired,
and discussions were held about observant Jews being “undesirable for
membership.”

“This is virtually Nazi-like from out of the 1930s,” Taubman said. “That’s
what these people are seeing on their campuses.”

Usenet services. You are not expected to post under a real email. But you are expected
to provide a real one to the service that will not be disclosed.

If you don't understand that, you're even stupider than I discovered you were.

Btw, in Ukraine war news: "A war cannot be won by only defending. Only trying to shoot
down incoming missiles is enormously expensive and will not always succeed. It's better to
remove the archer, not the arrows one by one." NAFO calls for American ATACMS and other
long range weapons to be used against military targets deep inside Russia.

Rudely is so easy to trigger into this childish behavior of his. He
tried keeping a low profile after his his recent provider loss. I was
able to quickly get him to return to his crazy behavior by selective

He dances to my tune and it's absolutely entertaining.

The unhinged antics of academia have long baffled ordinary Americans.
Institutions once prized for their services to knowledge are now staffed by
people who routinely deny that such a thing objectively exists, and who focus
more on their partisan priorities. Despite its reputation, Columbia
University is no exception. Before recently being evicted after clashes with
police, students at the school’s fractious anti-Israel encampment proudly
proclaimed their support for terrorism while calling on the college to sever
ties to Israel and Israelis.

Now, we have more evidence that some of the college’s top administrators are
not merely willing to indulge such radicalism but hold their own egregious
views. Last week the Washington Free Beacon exposed how deans at the Ivy
League school mocked Jewish students in private texts, referring to them as
“privileged” despite their concerns over growing anti-Semitism. Perhaps the
most surprising part of this scandal is that the offensive remarks were made
in private, given how normalized such sentiment has become in academic
circles.

The Jewish students denigrated by their deans are the same ones who recently
had to pass protestors, mobilized by groups that openly celebrated the
slaughter of civilians by Hamas, screeching at them to “go back to Poland.”
Even prior to macabre celebrations of the October 7th attacks, anti-Jewish
incidents were soaring in the U.S., with assaults on Jews rising by over 25%
in 2022.

Columbia University deans mocking Jewish students’ legitimate concerns about
anti-Semitism as “privilege” — not to mention the vomit emojis they directed
at those who express those concerns, proves that despite promoting
progressive values, Columbia’s rampant critical race theory has apparently
done nothing to alleviate a toxic atmosphere for Jewish students, and
arguably exacerbated it. In the corridors of academia, “progressive” staff
are only too happy to trivialize the genuine fears and experiences of Jewish
students in a way they would not be if students of any other minority group
expressed similar fears. How can students feel safe on campus in these
circumstances — or trust administrators to be honest referees for their
concerns after these private texts?

Incredibly, despite a slew of headlines claiming that the Columbia staff in
question have been “removed,” the college will simply shuffle three of them
into new roles. The most senior among them, Dean Josef Sorett, is walking
scot-free having released a mealy-mouthed statement in which he vows to
“rebuild trust.”

But how can trust be rebuilt when, to echo the words of the Free Beacon,
Columbia’s response is akin to “Moving the Priests Around” a rightly decried
practice of shuffling abusive priests from parish to parish instead of
forcing them to face justice for horrendous crimes? While many Catholic
authorities have reckoned with previous abuse scandals and improved
safeguarding practices, most colleges are incapable of even admitting a
scandal is unfolding.

The question now is whether ambitious American students, Jewish or otherwise,
decide to give up on the colleges of yesteryear and gravitate towards less
“prestigious” schools that remain dedicated to learning rather than appeasing
extremists.

While comprehensive measures such as training on anti-Semitism could be
helpful in theory, it is difficult to believe that, in practice,
administrators like those at Columbia will change for the better from such
training. Their mocking text messages, after all, occurred during a
discussion of anti-Semitism.

After this text message scandal, can we really trust colleges to execute
these training programs? Will students, already raised to hate, be open to
changing their minds? Are current teachers actually qualified or willing to
explain the complex history of anti-Jewish hatred, rather than reduce it to
yet another function of the irredeemable white supremacist evils of Western
civilization?

The reality suggested by this affair is that entire college departments and
administrations are rotten to the core. Root and branch reform is needed, in
Columbia and beyond. Universities must crack down on anti-Semitism, not just
from the Right but also from the Left — and from their own students — before
they can hope to root out anti-Semitism.

From Nazi Germany to the USSR to post-Islamic Revolution Iran, societies that
encourage or turn a blind eye to Jew-hatred have been doomed to achieve
neither longevity nor learning. In order to train the next generation of
people in elite professions who have America’s best interest at heart,
Columbia and other colleges must extinguish the anti-Semitism festering in
their ranks. The US will not maintain its global strength if its educated
elite continues its descent into a toxic combination of hatred and ignorance.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s Jewish faith could hurt Vice President
Kamala Harris’ bid for the Democratic presidential nomination if he is picked
for the ticket, CNN anchor John King suggested over the weekend.

King, who converted to Judaism in 2008, made the observation during a segment
with CNN host Anderson Cooper, who asked King about the potential benefits
and drawbacks of Harris picking Shapiro.

“He is certainly under consideration. I know that from key Harris allies.
He’s a first-term governor, he’s Jewish, there could be some risks in putting
him on the ticket,” King told Cooper, “but certainly some of our voters here
in Pennsylvania [have] said, ‘Hey, we like Governor Shapiro. Give him a
look.’”

John King pointing out that putting Gov Shapiro up as Harris’ VP
could be a risk because he’s Jewish isn’t antisemitism, it’s pointing
out the obvious, that the Dems are losing leftie voters over Israel.
King was married to Dana Bash, he has Jewish kids.

pic.twitter.com/dnhbDpfGcZ

— Brian Lilley (@brianlilley) July 22, 2024

King’s comment on Shapiro’s Jewish faith drew attention online. While the
anchor did not explain why he highlighted Shapiro’s Judaism, the Democratic
Party has for months been rocked by anti-Israel protests that have turned
anti-Semitic, as protesters express support for Hamas and the destruction of
the state of Israel.

President Joe Biden has struggled to tamp down Democratic criticism of his
administration’s handling of the war in Gaza. Progressives say Biden is too
supportive of Israel, whose conduct in the war has also drawn criticism.
Organizations including IfNotNow and Americans for Justice in Palestine
Action worked with progressive lawmakers to push Biden toward a tougher
position on Israel.

Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and others have
called for a ceasefire in Gaza while accusing Israel of committing “genocide”
against Palestinian civilians. That accusation has been rejected by the Biden
administration and conflicts with the best data of Israel’s military
operations, which have resulted in a roughly 1:1 combatant-to-civilian
casualty ratio in an urban setting where civilian casualties can make up as
much as 90% of those killed, according to the Center for Civilians in
Conflict.

Prior to Biden’s announcement that he was suspending his reelection campaign,
Democratic Party leaders were concerned about activists protesting the White
House’s position on Israel at the Democratic National Convention. In what may
be a sign that Vice President Kamala Harris shares those concerns, one of her
first calls to shore up support for her presidential bid went to Al Sharpton,
a civil rights activist and Democratic kingmaker.

Sharpton has long been accused of anti-Semitism, not least because of his
role in the 1991 Crown Heights riots that resulted in the fatal stabbing of
Yankel Rosenbaum, an Orthodox Jew. During the unrest, Sharpton led crowds in
chants for “justice” for a black 7-year-old accidentally struck and killed by
a Jewish driver. In recent months, Sharpton has backed away from the pro-
Palestinian wing of the Democratic Party, warning Democrats that rampant
anti-Semitism on college campuses is costing the party the “moral high
ground.”

If Shapiro were picked to run as vice president, he would be the first Jewish
American on a presidential ticket since the late Joe Lieberman, who died in
March. Al Gore tapped Lieberman as his running mate in 2000.

Other potential vice presidential picks for Harris include Democratic Govs.
Andy Beshear (KY) and Roy Cooper (NC) as well as Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona.
Harris’s team hopes to have a shortlist for the vice president to pick from
within a week, according to King.

University of Maryland President Darryll J. Pines threatened to call
the police on a Jewish woman for emailing criticism of the school’s
response to anti-Semitism, the same week he said freedom of speech
meant he couldn’t stop an anti-Israel group from reserving a campus
quad on the anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 attack, according to
emails obtained by The Daily Wire.

The emails show that on August 24, Pines emailed the woman — the mother
of a student, who had never emailed the president — asking her to halt
all communications with members of the school’s anti-Semitism task
force, lest he “pursu[e] further action, including, without limitation,
seeking the assistance of our University of Maryland Police
Department.”

On August 28, Pines replied to another Maryland resident who expressed
concern about the university granting Students For Justice in Palestine
(SJP) a reservation to take over nine acres in the center of campus for
an October 7 event, similar to one held on the second day of school
honoring Palestinian “martyrs.” In the email, Pines defended the group,
saying it “simply wanted to exercise their first amendment and free
speech right to honor those Palestinian lives that have been lost as a
result of this conflict.”

Pines in the email echoed SJP’s false claim that “approximately 150,000
lives [have been] lost during this conflict.” Even Hamas estimates the
total number killed to be 40,000.

A day after Pines defended SJP’s planned event, The Daily Wire reported
that the president had approved the event over the objections of the
campus rabbi, who conveyed the concerns of Jewish parents and students
to Pines. On September 1, the University System of Maryland intervened,
prohibiting all student groups from hosting events on October 7.

The same day, Pines sent an email to the university community
suggesting the planned SJP event was cancelled to ensure the “safety”
of the protesters, even though he acknowledged that “UMPD has assured
me that there is no immediate or active threat to prompt this
assessment.” His email did not describe why the October 7 date was
significant except to say that it was the “upcoming one-year
anniversary of October 7, 2023.”

The University of Maryland was one of several American schools whose
campuses were wracked with anti-Semitism in the wake of the Oct. 7
Hamas attack on Israel that left more than 1,200 dead. In response,
Pines announce the creation of a task force dedicated to fighting both
anti-Semitism and Islamophobia — though there was no evidence of
rampant Islamophobia on campus. The task force included a number of
anti-Israel voices, including co-chair Shibley Telhami, who has accused
Israelis of poisoning Arabs’ drinking water and smashing children’s
toys, among other claims.

Pines’s task force also excluded some pro-Israel voices who were
nominated, such as Gilad Chen, a Jewish professor, and Jeffrey Herf, a
Holocaust expert.

All of this led one Jewish mother of a University of Maryland student
to reach out to the task force, pressing it for information about its
actions and raising concerns about its composition and asking where the
boundaries of acceptable anti-Israel activity would be drawn. After
becoming frustrated by a lack of information, she eventually called
attention to Telhami’s social media posts and said “It’s LUDICROUS that
someone who holds hateful views towards Israel (only democracy in the
Middle East) and Jews is Chair of a Task Force on antisemitism!!!!
Would you have a KKK member on this Taskforce?”

The Daily Wire is withholding the names of the parent, and the other
Maryland resident who contacted Pines. The parent told The Daily Wire
that “the hypocrisy of it all is shocking,” and that Pines’s missive
only proved the “double standard” that she and other Jewish community
members pressed him about.

“There was nothing [harmful in my emails], it was literally begging for
accountability,” she said. “You established a task force and announced
it, and now we’re just asking who’s on it, what’s it doing and when is
it being rolled out?”

Pines, who did not respond to a request for comment, did not address
the parent’s questions. Rather, he went on the attack, the emails show.

“It has come to my attention that you have recently sent several emails
to certain members of our leadership team and faculty, as well as to
the co-chairs of the UMD Joint Presidential-University Senate Task
Force on Antisemitism and Islamophobia,” Pines wrote. “It is our view
that those communications contain INAPPROPRIATE remarks and UNFOUNDED
accusations, and otherwise reflect unacceptable behavior by any member
of our community.”

“Immediately cease and refrain from sending any further communications
to any members of the Task Force in connection with their work,” Pines
added. Please know that should you fail to comply with this request, we
will consider pursuing further action, including, without limitation,
seeking the assistance of our University of Maryland Police Department
(UMPD).”

Meanwhile, Pines’s email to the other resident–which he also fired off
after that resident suggested that Pines, who is black, would have a
different standard for speech aimed at blacks compared to speech aimed
at Jews– seemed to contain “inaccurate” claims of its own.

Pines claimed that SJP “have both publicly and on social media
condemned the horrific attack by Hamas that happened last fall on
October 7, 2024 [sic].”

The Daily Wire reviewed the University of Maryland SJP chapter’s
Instagram posts dating back to the terrorist attack and found none
condemning Hamas or the terrorist attack. The group posted nothing on
October 7, and the next day posted a “demand” that the university
boycott and divest from Israel. It subsequently called the Israeli army
“war criminals” using a “charade of self-defense” and demanded “Hands
off Rahah Now,” referring to the location where Hamas was keeping an
American hostage, who it later killed.

In a “statement of views,” the SJP chapter said in July that “UMD SJP
unequivocally states that the Zionist state of Israel has no right to
exist,” and that Palestinians have “the right to resist.”

“SJP unequivocally stands by international law as it outlaws the
indiscriminate killing of civilians and establishes the right of
Palestinians to carry out armed struggle,” the group wrote this week on
Instagram.

“UMD SJP will NOT back down to threat by Zionists. We will remain
committed to advocating for Palestine and we will still find ways to
honor the martyrs of this genocide and mark one year of resistance! WE
WILL NOT STOP,” it added soon after.

“We honor the lives of all martyrs of this genocide,” it said, saying
“over 186,000 Palestinians [sic] have been brutally murdered by the
Zionist entity within the past year.”

The Cornell University professor who cheered the slaughter of innocent
Israelis on October 7 as “exhilarating” has returned to teaching.

Professor Russell Rickford had taken an abrupt leave of absence just weeks
after the massacre following blowback to his comments. Now, nearly 11 months
later, Rickford is back teaching, the New York Post reported.

Rickford, a history professor, was shamed into taking “voluntary leave” after
he cheered the deaths of more than 1,200 people on Israeli soil.

“It was exhilarating, it was energizing! … I was exhilarated!” Rickford said
on October 15 of last year.

The next day, Rickford apologized in The Cornell Daily Sun for his remarks
following intense backlash.

“I apologize for the horrible choice of words that I used in a portion of a
speech that was intended to stress grassroots African American, Jewish and
Palestinian traditions of resistance to oppression,” Rickford said in his
apology. “I recognize that some of the language I used was reprehensible and
did not reflect my values. As I said in the speech, I abhor violence and the
violent targeting of civilians. I am sorry for the pain that my reckless
remarks have caused my family, my students, my colleagues and many others in
this time of suffering.”

“As a scholar, a teacher, an activist and a father, I strive to uphold the
values of human dignity, peace and justice,” he added. “I want to make it
clear that I unequivocally oppose and denounce racism, anti-semitism,
Islamophobia, militarism, fundamentalism and all systems that dehumanize,
divide and oppress people.”

The apology didn’t quell dissent, and a Change.org petition was launched
demanding he resign. The petition gathered more than 11,000 signatures, and
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) and Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) also called for
Rickford to resign.

“As a person of authority at an educational institution, to celebrate murder,
rape and abducting children and slaughtering children, I think he should be
fired,” Gillibrand said. “There’s certainly no space for pro-Hamas
protestors. That is someone who is supporting death, destruction, rape,
murder, and slaughtering of innocent children, and families and seniors and
holding hostages, so that cannot be supported.”

“By perpetuating these abhorrent views, Professor Rickford has not only
violated his ethical responsibility as an educator but has also jeopardized
the safety of the Jewish community and tarnished Cornell University’s
reputation,” Tenney said in a letter to Cornell University’s president.

Rickford then took a nearly year-long leave, announced by Cornell
University’s media relations department.

“Professor Russell Rickford has requested and received approval to take a
leave of absence from the university,” the statement said.

But now he is back to teaching without any punishment, though it is unclear
whether he was paid while on leave.

Rickford is teaching at least two courses at Cornell this semester, the Post
reported, including African Americans Vision of America and Socialism in
America. He is also teaching a seminar.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) blasted the professor’s return.

“He found the 10/7 massacre, rape and torture of 1,200 civilians as
‘exhilarating,’” Fetterman said in a post on X. “Unsurprisingly, he was
welcomed back. This is the personification of elite educational rot and
antisemitism at the core of so many anti-Israel campus protests.”

Hard-left Democrats introduced a bill to restore U.S. funding to the United
Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an organization that has been
accused of supporting terrorist groups.

Representatives Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), André Carson (D-IN), and Jan
Schakowsky (D-IL) introduced the UNRWA Funding Emergency Restoration Act of
2024, which seeks to have the United States resume funding the organization,
a practice halted by former President Donald Trump in 2018, restored by
President Joe Biden when he took office, then halted again when it was found
that UNRWA staff members were directly involved in the Hamas massacre of more
than 1200 people in Israel on October 7, 2023.

“On 26 January, in response to allegations received orally from Israeli
officials regarding the alleged involvement of 12 UNRWA staff in the 7
October attack against Israel, and upon ascertaining that the individuals
were indeed UNRWA staff members, the UNRWA Commissioner-General decided to
immediately terminate the appointments of these staff ‘in the interest of the
Agency,’ in accordance with applicable staff regulations, in order to protect
its ability to deliver humanitarian assistance,” UNRWA announced last
February.

UNRWA had denied the allegations for months and falsely labeled accusations
as Israeli propaganda and “disinformation.”

One month after the October 7 massacre, at a hearing held by the House of
Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs, Rep. Christopher H. Smith (R-
N.J.), chairman of the subcommittee, stated:

UNRWA provides education in hatred of Jews to the vastly expanded
number of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren of the
original refugees. UNRWA’s textbooks, curricula, summer camps,
official media, are all infamous incubators of hatred. … A June
report by U.N. Watch and Impact SC from March this year carefully
document that “UNRWA deliberately and systematically hires teachers
who publicly praise Hitler, glorify terrorist attacks against Israeli
children, and spread globalist-like conspiracy theories against the
Jews.”

“A new Impact SC report just released exposes an absolutely deplorable fact:
UNRWA staff celebrated Hamas’ massacre,” he continued. “UN Watch just
released a new report 2 days ago, on November 6, documenting how as soon as
news of the horrific slaughter broke, which was live streamed on social media
by some of the terrorists, United Nations Relief and Works Agency, or UNRWA,
staff immediately celebrated and justified it on Facebook. Celebrated the
slaughter of innocent people.”

“No one should have been surprised that UNRWA allowed Hamas to use its
facilities, provides employment to Hamas members, or that UNRWA’s textbooks
follow the Hamas agenda,” the Jerusalem Post reported in 2014.

In November 2023, Hillel Neuer, the Executive Director of UN Watch, told
Congress, “Teachers and schools at the United Nations Relief and Works
Agency, which runs education and social services for Palestinians, regularly
call to murder Jews, and create teaching materials that glorify terrorism,
encourage martyrdom, demonize Israelis and incite antisemitism.”

Jonathan Schanzer, Senior Vice President for Research at the Foundation for
the Defense of Democracies, pointed out, “The UN doesn’t recognize Hamas as a
terrorist organization. Nor does it recognize Hezbollah either. That means UN
resources can be and regularly are provided to members of those terrorist
groups.”

Last February, Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-TX), introducing the Uncovering
UNRWA’s Terrorist Crimes Act to prohibit any additional funding from the
United States to UNRWA, told The Washington Free Beacon:

There is a reason that President Trump halted all funding to UNRWA
during his administration. It is an anti-Israel, anti-Jewish
organization that promotes terrorism and anti-Semitism. UNRWA is also
one of the largest money laundering and child-trafficking
organizations in the world that works directly with Hamas to hire
teachers to indoctrinate innocent children. This is yet another sorry
example of the United States being suckered into sending billions of
dollars overseas to globalist organizations that want to put America
last, despite being more than $34 trillion in debt. American taxpayer
dollars have no place in promoting and enabling terrorism, yet that’s
exactly what’s been happening with UNRWA, and I won’t stand for it
any longer.

I wasn't voting for Justin Trudeau anyhow but while he initially froze
funding after 10/7/2023 he restored it several months ago.

I think it would take a true "road to Damascus" political conversion
to get him my vote and perhaps maybe not even then.

This is a polite way of saying "Trump has a better chance of getting
AOC's vote than Justin Trudeau getting mine"

Anti-Israel student activists at Harvard University are pushing forward with a referendum on
whether the school should divest from Israel, a move that may violate rules barring the
undergraduate student government from taking positions on global issues.

A petition launched on Tuesday gathered the 195 signatures needed to trigger a college-wide
referendum in just three hours, according to the Harvard Crimson. The undergraduate push follows
Harvard Law School and Harvard Divinity School’s student governments voting to divest from the
Jewish State in recent weeks.

If referendum bylaws are followed and signatures are verified, the vote will be held within three
weeks and include the proposed question: “Should Harvard divest from institutions that profit from
and/or aid Israel’s war on Gaza and the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestine?”

Two Harvard students told The Daily Wire that the petition is a violation of the student government
bylaws, which state the Harvard Undergraduate Association can “not publish statements on world or
campus issues/events.”

“The HUA’s bylaws, written after the previous student government body was dissolved, in part
because of their willingness to issue political statements, prohibits statements on campus or world
events,” a Harvard undergraduate told The Daily Wire. “Additionally, HUA resolutions can only be
used ‘to set HUA policy,’ and the HUA has no policy regarding Israel or Harvard’s investment.”

The student, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retribution from peers, added that it’s a
violation of bylaws to join “political movements” and to use “leading questions.”

“Harvard leadership has made clear that it opposes calls for a policy of boycotting Israel and its
academic institutions,” a Harvard spokesman said in a statement. “In the words of former President
Bacow, responding to a 2022 editorial in The Harvard Crimson that had endorsed the Boycott, Divest,
Sanction movement, ‘targeting or boycotting a particular group because of disagreements over the
policies pursued by their governments is antithetical to what we stand for as a University,’ and
‘academic boycotts have absolutely no place at Harvard, regardless of who they target.'”

The 195 signature threshold is determined by taking 10 percent of the total number of students that
voted in the 2023 Harvard Undergraduate’s Association (HUA) elections, per the bylaws.

“As the university discusses institutional neutrality during a time of genocide, sign NOW to tell
Harvard to divest from Israel’s war crimes against Palestinians,” the anti-Israel student group
Harvard Palestine Solidarity Committee wrote in an Instagram post with the petition link.

The post cites reporting from the Harvard Crimson, which found that Harvard invested $200 million
in companies tied to the Israeli Defense Forces and Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria.

Harvard Accused Of Promoting Eco-Terrorism For Plans To Screen ‘How To Blow Up A Pipeline’ Film

In a now-deleted post, the group expressed that all signatures will be kept secret and only known
to the election commission chair Behruz Mahmadov, two administrators, and the petitioners Shraddha
Joshi and Asmer Asrar Safi.

Just four days after Hamas’s deadly attack on Israeli civilians, Safi, a Rhodes Scholar, shared a
photo of a former leader of the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Popular Front for the
Liberation of Palestine, Ghassan Kanafani.

Loading Image...

“Thinking about the words of Ghassan Kanafani as Harvard faces one of its most intense onslaughts
of doxxing, intimidation and harassment,” he tweeted. “Here’s to rejecting occupation and apartheid
in the face of everything today.”

A quote from Kanafani was removed from Harvard’s anti-Israel “apartheid wall” last week after media
attention that the students platformed a man who was linked to the massacre of 26 people—including
American tourists—at Ben Gurion airport in 1972, according to the Mossad.

Joshi has a long history of anti-Israel activism and was a member of one of the student groups that
co-organized a statement blaming Israel for Hamas’ attack just a day after it happened, according
to Canary Mission.

“There should be no surprise in this effort coming as it does from a group that is no longer
antisemitic in effect, but antisemitic in their intent, words, and actions,” Harvard Chabad Rabbi
Hirschy Zarchi told The Daily Wire. “What remains to be seen is to what degree faculty will
continue to remain silent in the face of the rising Jew-hate that is defiantly being promulgated on
campus.”

Another Harvard student said the referendum can intensify “the alienation that Jewish students,
particularly those from Israel, have felt since October by signaling to them that they do not have
a place in the student body.”

“What is important to note is that on campus the divestment campaign has been framed as one against
genocide,” the student added. “The referendum seeks divestment from any organization linked to
Israel. There is a prevailing belief, as the petition shows, that even remote support for the
Jewish state means support for genocide.”

The student also asked to remain anonymous because of the belief system that fuels the petition,
and because the student fears peers “will use the illusion of the moral high ground to ostracize
their classmates in both social and academic circles.”

A University statement released last week said, “Harvard leadership has made clear that it opposes
calls for a policy of boycotting Israel and its academic institutions.”

Harvard’s interim president Alan Garber launched working groups last week to explore if and how the
university should make statements on political issues.

“In recent months and years, we have heard clearly that many in our community feel constrained in
their ability to express their views on critically important questions,” Garber and Interim Harvard
Provost John Manning wrote in an email. “More and more members of our community have also asked
whether and when the University should use its official voice to address matters of social and
political significance.”

Anti-Israel students at Yale University are threatening to go on a hunger strike
if the school does not commit to divest from weapons manufacturers “contributing
to Israel’s assault on Palestine” by Friday morning, they warned in a letter to
the university’s president.

“If these demands are not met by the morning of 4/12/2024, we will go on a
hunger strike,” the students wrote to President Peter Salovey. “We will risk our
bodily health and wellbeing in ways that mirror only a fraction of the absolute
devastation that Palestinians are suffering right now, until you do. Yale’s
complicity in genocide must end.”

In the wake of Israel’s war against Hamas for brutally massacring more than
1,000 people on October 7, the letter calls the United States the “empire that
is funding the military conquest and colonization of Palestine” and accused the
university’s investments of profiting “from this mass ethnic cleansing.”

“Our existence in this University and this country are ones defined by
necropolitics,” the students continued. “Our lives here exist as they do because
of the investment in the deaths of Palestinians by Yale and the US government.”

The students claimed they “exhausted every mode possible” of making their voices
heard without the university making the changes they requested. The students
cite various conferences, talks, meetings, and protests that they say failed to
elicit a response from the administrators.

“You flaunt free speech as a protected right on this campus but treat our free
speech as if it holds no real weight,” the letter reads. “Our free speech
demands a response from you.”

In a now-deleted post on the Instagram account created for the strike, the
students solicited donations for “life-giving aid” and medical support to help
strike participants.

The letter also accuses Yale of going against its commitment to make investment
decisions that “incorporate the full costs of climate change.”

“The first 60 days of Israeli bombardment has released more GHG emissions than
the annual carbon emissions of twenty individual countries and the carbon cost
of rebuilding Palestine will exceed the annual emissions of over 130 individual
countries combined,” the letter reads.

Citing Yale adopting a policy in 2018 of not investing in assault weapons, the
students called on Yale to divest from all weapons manufacturing and military
suppliers.

“Just like domestic shootings, the Israeli military causes ‘the Israeli military
causes ‘incontrovertible societal harm’ and ‘grave social injury’ as they
decimate the educational infrastructure of Palestine.”

The students go on to demand that the president discuss plans for divesting in
an upcoming Yale Corporation board meeting.

The letter was signed by a group of 12 graduate and undergraduate students,
according to Yale Daily News.

The Instagram post was in collaboration with Yale Law Students for Justice in
Palestine, Yalies for Palestine, and Yale Graduate Students for Palestine.

The university is reviewing its investment policies, according to Yale Daily
News which cited a February 2024 statement from the university confirming there
is a review to extend the 2018 assault weapons policy to “cover manufacturers
who effectively retail to the general public.”

Yale University did not respond to a request for comment.

Anti-Israel students at Yale University are threatening to go on a hunger
strike if the school does not commit to divest from weapons manufacturers
Considering how obese a lot of these purple-haired hobgoblins are, a
hunger strike might do them some good.

Maybe after he loses the election, he can star in "My 600lb Life - the Revival".

I suspect "hunger strike" no longer means what it used to mean.

Yeah, the last one I read about, they got to eat like an apple or
something and drink juice at least once a day so as not to endanger
their health, thereby missing the entire point of a hunger strike.

The way they do it now, a hunger strike is actually just going on a diet
and if I'm in the administration, why the fuck would I care that a bunch
of leftist nutbags are on a diet?

Harvard University failed to implement recommendations that it was presented
with from an anti-Semitism group that it created following Hamas’ October 7
terrorist attack on Israel.

The investigation from the House Education and the Workforce Committee
started several months later when it subpoenaed the school.

Harvard President Claudine Gay announced in late October that she had created
the Antisemitism Advisory Group (AAG) to “combat antisemitism in our
community.”

However, even though she attended most of the meetings that the group held,
very little was ever done to implement the group’s recommendations for how to
make the campus safer.

“The Committee’s report proves that former President Gay and Harvard’s
leadership propped up the university’s Antisemitism Advisory Group all for
show,” said Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC). “Not only did the AAG find that
antisemitism was a major issue on campus, it offered several recommendations
on how to combat the problem — none of which were ever implemented with any
real vigor. This shocking revelation reveals an inner look at how
dysfunctional Harvard’s administration is and the deep-seated moral rot that
clouds its judgement.”

The report said that the AAG found that anti-Semitic harassment was a
significant problem on campus and that most of its members threatened to
resign over Gay’s inaction on their findings.

The following were among the recommendations that the group presented to the
school:

* Having “zero tolerance” for classroom disruptions;

* Protecting shared learning environments;

* Holding student organizations accountable for adhering to University rules;

* Countering antisemitic speech;

* Reviewing the academic rigor of classes and programs with antisemitic
content;

* Reviewing Harvard’s Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging’s
(OEDIB) inadequacy in addressing antisemitism; and

* Increasing intellectual diversity; and

* Investigating the potential influence of “dark money” from Iran, Qatar, and
associates of terrorist groups on campus.

The group advised the school’s leadership that they also needed to address
the prevalence of anti-Semitic protesters wearing masks to hide their
identities during some of the more obscene incidents that happened on campus.

Fuck the jews! Expell them all if they aren't happy or don't "feel
safe" at Harvard. Let them enroll at Gaza University if they want to
really know what it's like to be hated.

Harvard University has relocated a summer program with a Palestinian
university whose faculty and students have endorsed and collaborated with
Hamas and other terror groups, a spokesman told The Daily Wire.

Birzeit University, which called for “glory for the martyrs” after Hamas’s
October 7 terrorist massacre in Israel, was slated to host Harvard T.H. Chan
School of Public Health’s “Palestine Social Medicine Course” from July to
August. But the school has moved the program to Jordan, a spokesman told The
Daily Wire, “due to security concerns in the West Bank.”

According to the program’s website, the “three-week intensive summer course
is designed to introduce students to the social, structural, political, and
historical aspects that determine Palestinian health beyond the biological
basis of disease.”

The program kicks off this week and ends August 17.

Students on the trip will learn from health practitioners, academics, and
activists about topics including “Settler colonialism and its manifestations
in Palestine” and “Health and racism,” the website states.

Harvard’s relationship with Birzeit University came under scrutiny after The
Daily Wire revealed the Palestinian university’s connections with terrorists
and anti-Semites, prompting a group of lawmakers to call for an end to the
partnership.

On October 10, Birzeit University’s school’s X account called for “glory for
the martyrs” and repeatedly declared support for student encampments on
American college campuses whose members harassed Jewish students.

The account also mourned “with great pride the martyr,” Aysar Safi, a student
killed in a combat mission against the IDF, who was a member of the Popular
Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), according to the terrorist
group’s website. Birzeit posted a photo of Safi’s on-campus funeral, where
attendees were seen holding flags of the student wing of the PFLP and Hamas’s
al-Qassam brigade.

Hanan Ashrawi, chairman of the university’s board of trustees, denied that
Hamas sexually assaulted Israeli civilians on October 7. Ashrawi has also
defended Hezbollah, and endorsed the lynching of Israeli soldiers, according
to CAMERA UK.

On October 11, Ashrawi said Israel’s “spin machine” was “manufacturing
horrific lies in an orchestrated smear campaign claiming rape, slaughtering
babies, beheadings, burnings alive,” and claimed Western media “immediately
swallowed & regurgitated such vile slander.”

In March, Ashrawi denied a United Nations report that concluded Hamas
committed sexual violence, stating that the report was invalid because it
primarily included interviews with Israelis.

The Palestinian school describes itself as a “thorn in the side of the
occupation” and says it is committed to making an impact through
“resistance.” Birzeit has a building named after Kamal Nasser, the leader of
Black September, the terror group that kidnapped and killed 11 Israeli
athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics.

Birzeit also has annual on-campus military parades where students honor Hamas
and PFLP with mock suicide belts and rockets, and chants calling to “blow up
the settler’s head,” the Middle East Media Research Institute reported.

The university’s student body has closely aligned itself with terrorist
groups. During the school’s 2023 student council elections, the Hamas-
affiliated Islamic Bloc won 25 of the 51 seats. The PFLP-affiliated group
picked up six seats in the race, which had a 77 percent voter turnout,
according to the Jerusalem Post.

Many Birzeit students have been arrested for assisting and joining terror
groups. Last week, five members of Birzeit’s student council were arrested
for attempting to carry out a shooting terror attack on behalf of Hamas. The
group had an assault rifle and thousands of dollars in cash from Hamas at the
time of arrest, the Times of Israel reported.

In 2022, Birzeit students were arrested for helping to launder money for
terrorist attacks from Gaza to Hamas members in Turkey, The Jerusalem Post
reported. On X, Birzeit said 140 students and four staff members were in
prison in April.
