Guelph is a city of 100,000 or so in southern Ontario. One of its
councillors, Adam Cooper, stirred up some controversy by posting
favourably in response to a meme about Trump's declaration that there
are only 2 sexes. Unsurprisingly, the mayor of Guelph initiated grovel
on overdrive in response.

I hope the citizens of Guelph elect Adam Cooper their next mayor.

Future prime minister Pierre Poilievre showed the proper way to handle
LGBT activists and their media backers in this interview:

It is going to be SO refreshing to have a leader that doesn't pander to
the cry-bullies and the activists-with-press-passes!!

I do have to admit that Trump accidentally declaring that everyone in the
country is female was pretty funny.

(Based on the use of the language “at conception” in Trump's executive order
mandating there be only two genders in the federal government, everyone is now
female since all human embryos follow a female developmental blueprint until
the activation of the SRY gene, which initiates sexual differentiation.
Embryos with an XY genotype will not begin developing male traits linked to
the Y chromosome until roughly seven weeks. Before then, human embryos are all
female.)

It's worse than that. Ontology recapitulates phylogeny:
