Loved the book years ago but I dont know how they can do it justice in a
single movie. The original was a two-part mini series that I think ran for
3hrs. Plus King has turned me off too much with his politics to want to
read anything he writes anymore.
As long as he keeps his politics out of his books-- which he's managed
to do so far-- I'll keep reading.
If I boycotted every writer, actor, producer, and musician who is a
proto-communist leftist, I'd have nothing to do but stare at the wall.
But I agree that discovering Twitter has not been to King's advantage.
Much like Trump, he can't help himself but run his virtual mouth and is
quickly alienating a huge chunk of his fan base. On the other hand, he's
in his late 70s now and richer than Midas so he's probably at a stage
and an age where he just doesn't give fuck anymore.
